An ear stimulation device and related systems and methods for operating an ear stimulation device in connection with a computing device are described. Multiple factors are used in controlling the ear stimulation device, including a variety of factors relating to or influencing the state of the user. In various aspects, the system is also responsive to inputs from sensors or computing networks. System features include fault detection, stimulus cycling and sequencing, integration with other devices in a networked system, device control based on playlists, battery charging, and device status display features.
FISHING APPRATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A fishing apparatus and a method for controlling the same. The fishing apparatus includes: a fishing rod having a reel and a motor connected with the reel; a brainwave collection unit arranged to collect a brainwave signal from a user of the fishing apparatus; and a control unit arranged to receive the brainwave signal collected by the brainwave collection unit. The apparatus generates a motor control signal according to the brainwave signal and transmits the motor control signal to the motor. The motor drives the reel to rotate under the control of the motor control signal. The fishing apparatus and the method for controlling the same as provided by the present disclosure are easy to use and labor-saving.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRESENTATION MANAGEMENT OF MEDIA CONTENT
Systems and methods are operable to control presentation of an erotica-related media content event. An exemplary embodiment is a media device that receives information from a user sensor that is configured to sense a physical characteristic of a user viewing the erotica-related media content event, and automatically changes presentation of the erotica-related media content event based on the received information corresponding to the sensed physical characteristic of the viewing user.

Systems and related methods for controlling an ear stimulation device with a personal computing device, in response to determination of electrical contact of an electrode in a stimulator earpiece with an ear of a user of the personal computing device, are described. If the electrode is not in good electrical contact with the ear of the user, delivery of the stimulus is prevented and the user is notified of the status of the electrode. In various aspects, the user is instructed to reposition the earpiece or replace, clean, moisten, or apply gel to at least a portion of the electrode.
WALKING ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
A walking assistance apparatus includes a knee fastener, a heel fastener, a first wire and a second wire connected to the knee fastener and the heel fastener, a first motor connected to the first wire, a second motor connected to the second wire, and a control circuit that controls the first motor and the second motor. The first wire is connected to a first position included in a right-half region of the heel fastener. The second wire is connected to a second position included in a left-half region of the heel fastener. The control circuit acquires gait information of the user, and, based on the gait information, the control circuit controls the first motor to reduce a length of the first wire and the second motor to reduce a length of the second wire at a predetermined timing.
APPARATUS FOR FALL PREVENTION DURING WALKING, CONTROL DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An apparatus includes a first wire and a second wire which are coupled to a right upper ankle belt and a right lower ankle belt, a third wire and a fourth wire which are coupled to a left upper ankle belt and a left lower ankle belt, an obtainer obtaining user information about a user and information about walking action of the user, and a controller controlling tensions of the first wire and the second wire at the same time and controlling tensions of the third wire and the fourth wire at the same time using a first stiffness target value corresponding to the first wire, a second stiffness target value corresponding to the second wire, a third stiffness target value corresponding to the third wire, and a fourth stiffness target value corresponding to the fourth wire that are determined based on the user information and the walk information.
Stool for use with a toilet
A stool is provided that provides a raised heel squat position to a user that engages the stool. The raised heel squatting position promotes a healthy and productive experience on a toilet. The stool may be collapsible for easier storage and transportation. The stool may be adjustable to provide custom fittings to different size users. Additionally, the stool may be intelligent and may provide a customized immersive experience to a person on a toilet.
WEARABLE ASSISTIVE JAMMING APPARATUS AND RELATED METHODS
Wearable assistive jamming apparatus and related methods are disclosed herein. An example apparatus includes a frame to be worn about a body part of a user and a jamming actuator carried by the frame. The example apparatus includes an electrode to deliver electricity from an electrical source communicatively coupled to the electrode to a muscle of the user. In the example apparatus, the jamming actuator is to transition from a flexible state to a substantially rigid state in coordination with the delivery of the electricity to the electrode to support the body part.
CHEST COMPRESSION MACHINE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Chest compression machine systems and methods adjust the administration of patient treatment based on received physiological parameter measurements, such as a CO.sub.2 measurement. Adjustment of the administered chest compressions can include adjusting one or more chest compression parameters, such as the depth of the administered compressions, the administration of active decompressions, adjusting the height of active decompression, adjusting the rate of compressions and/or active decompressions and/or other changes to one or more properties, or characteristics, of the administered chest compressions and/or active decompressions.
