Consumer products and delivery systems utilizing organoleptic compounds
The present application relates to perfume delivery systems and consumer products comprising a novel organoleptic compound and or perfume delivery systems having the novel organoleptic compound, as well as methods for using such perfume delivery systems and consumer products.
Pore minimizer
A method for reducing the appearance of a skin pore in skin of a subject in need thereof is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to the skin pore a composition comprising effective amount of Albizia julibrissin bark extract, and hydrolyzed soy flour, wherein topical application of the composition reduces the appearance of the size of the skin pore.
Water-soluble refill dose article enclosing a concentrated cleanser composition and kits having same
Water-soluble refill dose articles for forming a cleanser have a water-soluble film defining a first compartment enclosing a first composition and a second compartment enclosing a second composition, which are individual separate articles or are part of an integral article. The first composition has a rheology modifier, a first surfactant, 10% or less by weight water, 20% or less by weight glycol, and the first surfactant does not activate the rheology modifier. The second compartment has an alkaline substance that when mixed with the first composition and water activates the rheology modifier to increase the viscosity of a resulting cleanser and 10% or less by weight water. When the article is diluted in water at a 1:1 to 1:20 ratio, it produces a cleanser having a viscosity within a range of 2000 cps to 50,000 cps.
Perfumed latex soap and preparation method thereof
Perfumed latex soap is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 2-5 parts of natural latex, 5-12 parts of glycerin, 8-10 parts of sodium dodecyl sulfate, 5-10 parts of coconut oil, 6-8 parts of palm oil, 1-3 parts of titanium dioxide, 0.8-1.2 parts of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid, 0.6-0.8 part of sulfur, and 0.8-1.0 part of radix asparagine essential oil. The perfumed latex soap is mild, safe, and non-irritating and has aroma of the natural latex. In addition, the added radix asparagine essential oil can effectively improve the skin condition of a human body without causing the human body to generate dependence. The temperature of the mixing tank in which the perfumed latex soup is prepared is convenient to adjust and materials in a mixing cylinder can be agitated and sheared during agitating, so that the materials are fully mixed and the quality of a product is improved.
LIQUID NEUROTOXIN FORMULATION STABILIZED WITH TRYPTOPHAN OR TYROSINE
The invention relates to stable liquid neurotoxin formulations which are free of animal proteins, comprising a surfactant, an amino acid selected from tryptophan and tyrosine, a buffer comprising sodium, chloride and phosphate ions, which have a pH between 5.5 and 8, and which are stable for 2 months. These compositions are suitable for use in therapy and in particular for administration to a patient to achieve a desired therapeutic or aesthetic effect. The invention also relates to the use of an amino acid selected from tryptophan and tyrosine to protect a proteinaceous neurotoxin from degradation in a liquid composition which is free of animal derived proteins.

METHOD OF EMULSIFICATION USING CORE-CORONA TYPE MICROPARTICLES
A method of emulsification of an oil phase in an aqueous continuous phase, by dispersing core-corona microparticles into the aqueous phase, adding the oil phase, and applying shearing force for a time sufficient to emulsify the resulting mixture. The core-corona microparticles are obtained by radical co-polymerization of a polyethylene oxide macromonomer with at least one hydrophobic acrylate monomer and at least one hydrophobic acrylamide monomer.

Compositions comprising solvent, a monoalcohol, glycerin, and thickener
Compositions are provided for removing nail polish that include a co-mixture of monoalcohol, glycerin, and solvent consisting of C2-C3 monoalcohol, glycerin, and a solvent selected from acetone, a C2-C4 alkyl acetate, and combinations thereof. The composition for includes a co-mixture of monoalcohol, glycerin, and solvent that consists of C2-C3 monoalcohol; glycerin; and less than 55% by weight of solvent selected from acetone, a C2-C4 alkyl acetate, and combinations thereof. The glycerin and the C2-C3 monoalcohol are present in a glycerin to C2-C3 monoalcohol weight ratio of greater than about 0.6. If the solvent includes C2-C4 alkyl acetate then the concentration of C2-C4 alkyl acetate is less than 30% by weight. The composition further includes polyacrylamide and water. The concentration by weight of water in the composition is less than the concentration by weight of glycerin. Methods are also provided.
Non-petrochemically derived cationic emulsifiers that are neutralized amino acid esters and related compositions and methods
The invention includes a method of increasing the substantivity of a personal care composition to hair, skin or nails by preparing a composition of an aqueous phase, a non-aqueous phase and a neutralized amino acid ester that is a reaction product of a neutral amino acid having a non-polar side chain with a long chain fatty alcohol and is represented by formula (I): ##STR00001##
wherein R.sup.1 is an alkyl group; R.sup.2 is a linear or branched carbon chain; and the amine group of the amino acid is neutralized with an acid. The composition is substantially free of petrochemicals and/or derivatives of petrochemical materials. The aqueous phase and the non-aqueous phase are emulsified by the neutralized amino acid ester. Other methods and an emulsifiers that is the neutralized amino acid ester are included. Because the neutralized amino acid ester and the compositions do not contain petrochemical-derived ingredient, the products are natural.
