Degraded performance detection and control
Systems and techniques for detecting suboptimal mowing due to impacted vegetation and/or orientation changes are discussed. In some examples, blade speeds, blade heights, torques, and/or a current required to spin the blades of a mower at a determined rate may be calibrated and associated with a lawn mower and/or map. Changes in any one or more of the blade speed, current required, torque, etc. (and/or additional data from one or more sensors on the mower) may be used as an indication for determining whether vegetation has impacted the underside of a mower, whether the blade has struck an object, whether the mower is undergoing an orientation change, whether the mower requires maintenance, and the like. Based on the indication, the mower can perform one or more functions to attempt to remediate the problem autonomously and/or send a signal to a user for additional help.

A work tool system (200) comprising a work tool (100) and a server (320), the server (320) comprising a controller (321) and a communication interface (325) and the work tool (100) comprising a controller (110) and a communication interface (115), wherein the server (320) is configured to: receive movement indications for a user (U) through the communication interface (325); determine a movement pattern based on the movement indications; determine a Do Not Disturb area suitable for the movement pattern; and to transmit information on the Do Not Disturb area to the work tool (100) through the communication interface (325); and wherein the work tool (100) is configured to: receive information on the Do Not Disturb area; control the work tool so that the Do Not Disturb area is not violated.

A lawn vehicle network including a lawn vehicle including a movement mechanism and at least one rotatable blade, a circuit capable of residing on the lawn vehicle, a sensor associated with the lawn vehicle and capable of sensing at least one characteristic of the lawn vehicle, a data packet representative of the at least one characteristic of the lawn vehicle, a transmitter connected to the circuit and to a computing device, the transmitter capable of transmitting the data packet to the computing device, the computing device connected to a speaker, the speaker capable of outputting an audible command representing the at least one characteristic of the lawn vehicle.
REAR-MOVING SELF-PROPELLED WORKING MACHINE
A rear-moving, self-propelled working machine includes a main machine and a handle device. The main machine includes a moving assembly and a motor for driving the moving assembly. The handle device is connected to the main machine and includes an operation member, a connecting rod assembly, a housing, a sensing device, and a trigger assembly. The operation member includes a grip for a user to hold. The connecting rod assembly includes a first connecting rod connected to the main machine. The sensing device is used for sensing a thrust applied to the handle device to drive the rear-moving, self-propelled working machine. The trigger assembly is capable of applying a force to the sensing device when the grip receives the thrust. The trigger assembly is connected to the connecting rod assembly, and the sensing device is connected to the operation member.
Bail driven stale fuel evacuation
A carburetor drain apparatus includes a carburetor bowl, a fuel supply pipe, a fuel drain pipe, and a bail interface. The carburetor bowl is configured to store fuel and provide the fuel to an air passage. The fuel supply pipe is connected a fuel tank and the carburetor bowl. The fuel drain pipe is connected to the carburetor bowl. The bail interface is configured to operate in response to actuation of a bail to open the fuel drain pipe.
Robotic lawnmower with passive cleaning assembly
A lawnmower, and in particular a robotic lawnmower, can include a passive cleaning assembly for removing detritus from the lawnmower housing. The passive cleaning assembly can be moveably mounted on the housing. Movement of the lawnmower with respect to the ground can cause a cleaning portion of the passive cleaning assembly to move with respect to the housing, and thereby remove detritus from the housing.
Ground Treatment Appliance
An autonomous ground treatment appliance, in particular a robotic lawnmower, includes a housing, a running gear, a control unit, at least one wheel unit, and a sensor unit. The control unit is configured to control the autonomous ground treatment appliance. The at least one wheel unit is mounted on the housing so as to be at least partially movable relative to the housing. The sensor unit is configured to ascertain a position of the wheel unit relative to the housing.
MATERIAL COLLECTION SYSTEM TUBE FASTENER
A material collection system tube fastener includes a mounting rod attached to a material collection system tube. The mounting rod has a first end inserted into a bushing at a first end of a side discharge outlet on a multi-blade mower deck, and a second end engaging a hook at a second end of the side discharge outlet. The mounting rod may pivot in the bushing to move the material collection system tube toward and away from the side discharge outlet.
