CROP MONITORING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A harvester monitoring system configured to determine one or more parameters associated with harvested items, the system comprising: a camera module having a field of view and configured to generate image data associated with the harvested items; a mounting bracket configured to secure the camera module to a harvester such that a conveyor of the harvester is within the field of view of the camera module; a location sub-system configured to determine and output location data representative of a geographical location of the harvester monitoring system; and a processing unit configured to receive the image data and the location data, to determine one or more parameters associated with the harvested items, and to record the one or more parameters in association with the location data on a computer readable medium.
System and method for determining material accumulation relative to ground engaging tools of an agricultural implement
A system for determining material accumulation relative to ground engaging tools of an agricultural implement may include a frame member, and first and second ground engaging tools coupled to the frame member. The first and second ground engaging tools are configured to engage soil within a field as the agricultural implement is moved across the field. The first and second ground engaging tools are electrically isolated from each other. The system may further include a power source configured to apply a voltage across the first and second ground engaging tools, a sensor configured to measure a capacitance across the first and second ground engaging tools, and a controller communicatively coupled to the sensor. The controller may be configured to determine a presence of material accumulation between the first and second ground engaging tools based at least in part on the measured capacitance.
DISINFECTION OF SOIL BY APPLICATION OF ELECTRIC VOLTAGE
A soil disinfector comprising an insulating endless belt with at least one row of positive electrodes and at least one row of negative electrodes mounted on the endless belt. The electrodes are mounted with their heads on the inside of the belt and their bodies pointing outward from the belt, the electrodes being configured to penetrate the soil. The electrodes take their power from a power source, the power source being connected to the electrodes via sets of rows of rollers and sets of rows of stationary conductive contact plates, at least one set of each being positive and at least one set of each being negative. The soil disinfector also has sensors to detect soil conditions and a processor to alter power applied to the soil based on the soil conditions.

SOIL CHARACTERISTIC SENSORS ON GROUND-ENGAGING ELEMENTS OF A PLANTING MACHINE
Disclosed are devices, systems and methods related to agricultural planters. In some implementations, the row unit includes a soil engaging member, where the soil engaging member engages at least one sidewall of a trench and displaces soil from the sidewall to cover the seed. In further implementations, the row unit includes a sensing system for sensing sidewall compaction and/or soil moisture.
Smart sensor system for agricultural implements
An agricultural planting or seeding implement having a ground engaging tool that forms an opening along an axis in the soil, a sensor disposed aft of the ground engaging tool, and a row unit disposed aft of both the ground engaging tool and the sensor relative to a direction of travel of the agricultural planting or seeding implement. The sensor engages with the ground at a depth within the opening and generates a signal indicative of a soil property of the ground.

METHOD FOR AN "ON-THE-FLY" TREATMENT OF AN AGRICULTURAL FIELD USING A SOIL SENSOR
The present invention relates to a method for treatment of an agricultural field, the method comprising the steps: 1) receiving (S10) a parametrization (10) for controlling a treatment device (200) by the treatment device (200) from a field manager system (100); 2) receiving (S20) from at least one soil sensor (400) real-time soil information on the real-world situation of the geographical location G1 in the agricultural field; 3) processing (S30) the real-time soil information to generate processed information (30), 4) determining (S40) a control signal (50) for controlling a treatment arrangement (270) of the treatment device (200) based on the received parametrization (10) and the processed information (30), 5) executing (S50) a treatment on the geographical location G2 in the agricultural field, wherein the treatment is executed based on the control signal (50) real-time after receiving the real-time soil information in such a way that the distance between location G1 and location G2 does not exceed 100 meters.
Seed trench closing sensors
A system for sensing characteristics of a trench in a soil surface during planting operations. A trench opening assembly opens a trench in the soil surface as the trench opening assembly moves in a forward direction of travel. A trench closing assembly disposed rearward of the trench opening assembly closes the opened trench with soil. One or more sensors may be disposed on an appurtenance disposed in said trench configured to provide characteristics of an area of the open trench or an area of the trench closed with soil by the trench closing assembly or a sensor may be disposed outside of said trench configured to provide characteristics of an area of the trench closed with soil or a combination of the sensors may be disposed in the trench and outside of the trench.
