METHOD FOR OPERATING A MACHINE FOR HARVESTING AND/OR SEPARATING ROOT CROPS, ASSOCIATED MACHINE AND ASSOCIATED COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A method is provided for operating a machine for harvesting root crops and/or for separating root crops from further additionally conveyed material that includes at least soil in the form of loose earth and/or soil aggregates, and also, if applicable, leaves and/or stones. By means of at least one electromagnetic, in particular optical, or acoustic image capturing unit, at least one inspection image is captured of at least one portion of the material, moved relative to a machine frame of the machine by at least one transport element, in particular a screen belt. On the basis of at least one inspection data set generated using the inspection image and/or formed by this image, an evaluation device generates an adjustment signal for adjusting at least one operating parameter of the transport element and/or a further transport element of the machine. At least one feature for describing the ability to be screened of the additionally conveyed soil is determined by the evaluation device and is used for adjusting the operating parameter. The invention also relates to a machine for harvesting root crops and a computer program product.

METHOD FOR OBSERVING WORKING PROCESSES OF AN AGRICULTURAL MACHINE, DIGITAL VIDEO SYSTEM AND AGRICULTURAL MACHINE
A method for observing the crop processing and/or handling working processes of an agricultural machine is provided. The method utilizes a digital video system with a plurality of digital image acquisition units, with at least one display unit and with at least one network coupling element preferably designed as a switch, via which the image acquisition units are connected to the display unit. The image acquisition units record image data for images of, in particular, a video stream, and at least one of the images, in particular of the video stream, is reproduced at least partially in one of in particular a plurality of configurable shapes comprising one or multiple image reproduction regions on the display unit that is in particular designed as a touchscreen of an EDP unit that is preferably designed as a Panel PC (8).
Screening belt unit for a harvesting machine, and associated flap unit
Screening belt unit is provided for a harvesting machine or harvested material transport device, and in particular for a root crop harvester or root crop transport belt, and for screening extraneous material out of a mixture of harvested material and extraneous material. A screening belt has at least two endless carriers, preferably in the form of carrier belts or chains, between which screening bars are arranged in a direction transversely to the conveying direction. The screening bars forming a plurality of screening bar units that comprise in particular in each case at least two screening bars. At least a part of the screening bars is fixed so as to be movable relative to the endless carriers. The screening belt unit has a positioning means which is arranged at least partially along the screening belt and acts on the movable screening bars. In the screening zone S, as seen in the screening direction, a spacing A in the conveying direction F of successive screening bars is defined and in particular settable in a variable manner, and associated flap unit.
