The row unit includes both operator controlled macro adjustment and automatic micro adjustment of a gap between the first deck plate assembly and the second deck plate assembly. The micro adjustment is achieved through biasing members biasing each respective deck plate segment.

CUTTING TOOLS FOR HARVESTING HEADER DIVIDERS, HARVESTING HEADERS CARRYING SUCH TOOLS, AND RELATED METHODS
A cutting tool for a harvesting header includes a longitudinal member having a straight portion with a non-round cross-section, a hook coupled to the longitudinal member and configured to secure the longitudinal member to a divider of a harvesting header, and a cutting blade extending from the longitudinal member. A harvesting header for use with a crop-harvesting machine includes a header frame structured to be coupled to the crop-harvesting machine, a divider at an end of the header frame, and a cutting tool carried by the divider. The divider defines a tube therein, and the longitudinal member of the cutting tool is disposed at least partially within the tube. A method of preparing a harvesting header includes sliding a longitudinal member of a cutting tool into a tube within a divider, and engaging a hook to secure the longitudinal member to the tube.
DUST RESTRICTOR
A dust restrictor is provided for eliminating dust and dirt accumulation between surfaces. The dust restrictor includes at least one dust restricting element and an attachment means. The dust restricting element is disposed in a dust accumulating area of an arrangement. The attachment means is provided for fixing each of the dust restricting elements to the dust accumulating area. The dust restrictor can minimize an accumulation of debris, reduce the down time of a machine due to debris accumulation, and also increase life of bearing and motors operating a machine.

A set of crop loss inhibitors is mounted proximate a forward portion of each of the gathering chains, in a direction of travel of the harvesting machine. The crop loss inhibitors also include a sensor that senses a variable, indicative of a crop attribute, as each crop stalk passes through the set of crop loss inhibitors.
