LIGHT SYSTEM FOR AQUARIUM AND METHODS
A light system for an aquarium includes an aquarium tank and a lid covering the open top of the tank. The lid is pivotably attached to the tank and is pivotable between a covered position and uncovered position. A light source is secured to an interior portion of the lid and moves with the lid between the covered position and uncovered position. The light source emits a. light beam. An alignment arrangement is provided for the light source and is constructed and arranged to ensure the light beam projects into the tank interior volume regardless of the position of the lid and light source.
AUTONOMOUS WATER QUALITY SENSING APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE APPARATUS
An autonomous water quality sensing apparatus, a system and a method for operating the apparatus are provided. In the autonomous water quality sensing system, the autonomous water quality sensing apparatus is configured to move on a track. In the method, a driving mechanism is used to drive the autonomous water quality sensing apparatus to operate over an elevated track surrounding one or more pools. The autonomous water quality sensing apparatus includes a sensing device. The sensor is put into the pool at a planned stop by a sensor deploying mechanism of the autonomous water quality sensing apparatus, so as to obtain water quality data of each of the pools according to a routing plan and a length setting.
Aquatic farming in intermodal containers
The present invention generally relates to an aquatic farming system (200) comprising one or more stacked levels of an array of one or more aquatic farming modules (100). Each aquatic farming module (100) comprises an intermodal container (102) comprising a pair of opposing side walls (104) and a pair of opposing end entrances (106), and a housing structure (110) disposed in the intermodal container (102) and extending between the side walls (104) thereof. The aquatic farming module (100) further comprises a set of access doors (130) disposed at one or both end entrances (106) of the intermodal container (100), the access doors (130) actuatable planarly for selectively opening/closing the respective end entrances (106). Selective opening/closing of the end entrances (106) of the intermodal containers (102) in each stacked level facilitates user accessibility to the housing structures (110) in said stacked level for farming aquatic organisms.
HYDROCULTURE SYSTEM
Provided is a planting cup for hosting growing plants, for use in conjunction with hydroculture systems, and a development for producing same. The planting cup may be configured with a side wall formed with a plurality of openings and extending between an open bottom base and an open top base. The planting cup may also be constructed out of a sheet of pliable material.
Aquarium System
An aquarium filtering and purifying system includes an upper display tank and a lower filter tank. The water from the upper tank can be delivered to the lower tank to a filter, such as within a surrounding filter fabric or membrane, such as a filter sock. An air tube can also be inserted into the filter tank to an unfiltered side of the filter, such as within the filter sock, to deliver air bubbles into the filter tank. The air tube can have an air stone at the end thereof to diffuse the air bubbles. Further air stones can be provided on an outside of the sock in the first compartment. Filtered water is delivered to a second compartment in the filter tank. The next compartment can have sand, and/or rocks and/or algae and/or a clean-up crew to assist in purifying the water. Water from the second compartment then passes to a third compartment, through a bubble trap, and then is pumped back to the display tank. Alternatively, the first compartment can be provided with a macro algae bed instead of a filter sock.
ADJUSTABLE FASTNER
An adjustable locking fastener comprising a post and a lever for use in an aquarium. The adjustable locking fastener includes a post, a lever and a letoff portion. The adjustable locking fastener may be quickly removed and reattached with minimal effort, and with a constant set point for the attachment.
AQUARIUM CORAL MOUNTING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
A coral mounting apparatus that facilitates mounting a live coral or other decoration to rock in an aquarium comprising a coral mount; a dock that is slidably receivable within the coral mount; and a docking mechanism that enables the dock to slide in and towards with respect to the coral mount upon docking, and away and slide out with respect to the coral mount upon undocking.
CIRCULATING AQUACULTURE FACILITY FOR SALTWATER PONDS
Provided is a circulating aquaculture facility for saltwater ponds. The circulating aquaculture facility comprises a cultivation tank, a division plate vertically arranged in the cultivation tank to divide an inner cavity of the cultivation tank into a left inner chamber and a right inner chamber; a water inlet pipeline, water in the water inlet pipeline enters the cultivation tank through the left rectangular through hole of the cultivation tank; an outlet pipeline, sewage discharged from the right rectangular through hole of the cultivation tank is capable of entering the outlet pipeline; and an oxygen supply device which delivers oxygen to the inner bottom of the cultivation tank.
WATER CIRCULATION AND AERATION SYSTEM FOR AQUACULTURE FACILITY, RELATED FACILITY, METHODS AND USE
A circulation and aeration system 10 for an aquaculture facility including an elongated reservoir for cultivating aquatic species is provided. The system includes a number of vertical manifolds distributed along the length of the reservoir through an interconnecting piping and arranged to generate a number of adjacent rotating liquid flow patterns by injecting aerated water into the reservoir via exhaust ports, wherein each the pattern forms an individual rotating flow cell, and wherein the system further includes at least one airlift pump configured to supply the aerated water into the manifolds. Related facility, methods and uses are further provided.
Vertical-hive green box cultivation systems
A Vertical-Hive Green Box (or V-Hive Green Box) is a modular cultivation system utilized in a modular Vertical Farm or Plant Factory, as well as a warehouse-type or greenhouse-type of vertical farm or plant factory. The V-Hive Green Box includes growing boards, lighting boards, and an irrigation system arranged within a frame structure to maximize the quantity of crops that can be grown within an available volume of space in a modular Vertical Farm unit, warehouse or greenhouse per unit time. The V-Hive Green Box can also include aquaculture boards that can be used for aquaculture of aquatic fish and plants.
