Spigot joint fishing rod
A fishing rod according to one embodiment of the invention includes a small-diameter hollow rod body extending in a central axis direction, a large-diameter hollow rod body extending in the central axis direction, and a spigot ferrule inserted in the small-diameter rod body from its rear end and into the large-diameter rod body from its front end to connect the small-diameter rod body and the large-diameter rod body. In the fishing rod, a first inclined surface that extends from an rear end of the small-diameter rod body at an angle of 0.1° to 10.0° with respect to the central axis direction is formed on an inner peripheral surface of the small-diameter rod body.

TUBULAR CARBON FIBER REINFORCED COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND GOLF CLUB SHAFT
Provided are tubular carbon fiber reinforced composite material and having excellent cylindrical bending strength and a golf club shaft using the same. This tubular carbon fiber reinforced composite material is formed by laminating and curing a straight layer and a bias layer. The straight layer comprises carbon fibers S coated with a sizing agent S and arranged in parallel in a direction of −20° to +20° with respect to the axis of the tubular body, and contains a thermosetting resin S. The bias layer comprises carbon fibers B coated with a sizing agent B and arranged in parallel in a direction of +25° to +65° with respect to the axis of the tubular body, and contains a thermosetting resin B. The carbon fiber reinforced composite material constituting the bias layer has an interlaminar shear strength of not less than 110 MPa. A cured product of the thermosetting resin S has an elastic modulus of not less than 4.0 GPa.
System and methods for adjusting variable geometry, height, weight distribution dynamics in orthotic devices and equipment
An active suspension orthotic support system is disclosed. The suspension orthotic support system comprises at least one variable resistance beam extending from a heel section to a mid-arch section of the footwear, wherein rotation of the variable resistance beam from a first position to a second position causes a resistance provided by the variable resistance beam to vary between a minimum resistance to a maximum resistance.

FISHING ROD AND REEL RECOVERY DEVICE AND RECOVERY SYSTEM
The present invention comprises a reusable recovery system for sport fishing rod-and-reel combinations that are dropped overboard, which floats the fishing rod-and-reel to the surface of the water. The core components of the invention are a hollow tube, a gas cartridge, an inflatable bag, configured as follows: a tube is attached to the fishing rod handle as not to interfere with normal fishing operations, a gas cartridge with the discharge side of the cartridge pointed toward the open end of the tube, an inflatable bag is folded to fit in the tube and attached to receive the gas when discharged, the open end of the tube has a cap that allows water to enter at a certain depth of water. In some embodiments the invention can be used to recover gear lost overboard on a boat, like a fishing rod and reel.
FISHING STORAGE DEVICE
A fishing system includes a container having a cavity sized to pass a jig line therethrough and to store the jig line and fasteners for releasably connecting the container to a fishing rod. The fasteners are configured to secure ends of the jig line to an exterior of the container.
ILLUMINATING FISHING DEVICE
An illuminating fishing device removably connected to at least a portion of a fishing rod, the illuminating fishing device including an illuminating fishing line to illuminate in response to receiving at least one beam of light therein, and a reel assembly, including a reel body, an illuminating line spool disposed on at least a portion of the reel body to store the illuminating fishing line therein and illuminate a surrounding area therefrom, such that the illuminating line spool emits the at least one beam of light into the illuminating fishing line, and an illuminating bail disposed on at least a portion of the reel body to illuminate the surrounding area.
FISHING ROD
A fishing rod is disclosed. The fishing rod includes a rod body. The rod body has a first cylindrical part. The first cylindrical part has a lower portion formed by a concave outer surface that is recessed and a convex inner surface that protrudes convexly along the concave outer surface.
