Device for treating a product
At a device for treating a product in a receiving trough (1) which has at least one opening (5) for receiving the product, the treatment of the product is to take place by inner and outer blades (9, 8) which are arranged in the receiving trough (1) and can be driven separately by drives (14; 16). The drive (14) for the at least one inner blade (9) should be located on the same side of the receiving trough (1) as the drive (16) for the at least one outer blade (8).
FILLING AND PORTIONING SYSTEM FOR FOOD PRODUCTS AND METHOD FOR ROTATIONAL SPEED CONTROL OF AN ASSOCIATED FEEDER/MIXING ARM AND/OR COUNTERHOLDING DEVICE
A filling and portioning system for food products and a method for rotational speed control of a feeder and/or mixing arm and/or counterholding device present thereon for conveying the food product in a filling hopper are described. According thereto, the feeder/mixing arm in the filling hopper can be rotated about itself by way of a motor for conveying the food product and is driven independently of a downstream conveyor mechanism. The counterholding device is also arranged in the filling hopper and can optionally be rotated about itself by way of a motor for conveying the food product and is driven independently of a downstream conveyor mechanism. The rotational speed of at least one of the motors is controlled in an automated manner in dependence of at least one machine or product parameter measured during operation of the filling and portioning system.
ZERO CONTACT SCREW AND ERGONOMIC HOUSING PORTIONING DEVICE
A zero contact double screw and ergonomic double screw housing combination for foodstuff mixers and portioning devices. The system includes a multi-prong support segment at the discharge end of the double screw and double screw housing which connects and secures the double screw to the double screw housing to support and space the double screw apart from the surrounding double screw housing in a configuration which eliminates contact between the outer surface of the double screw and the inner surface of the double screw housing. The housing has an exterior portion with scooped out portions providing for substantially reduced thickness, volume, and mass, while remaining configured to provide durability and longevity of use similar to that of a screw housing that is substantially fully cylindrical throughout its diameter.
FOOD PROCESSING MONITORING SYSTEM
Food processing monitoring systems and method thereof are provided. A method includes obtaining first temperature data from a first temperature sensor at an inlet of a food processing machine; obtaining second temperature data from a second temperature sensor at an outlet of the food processing machine; obtaining current data from a current sensor that is configured to measure current of a motor of the food processing machine; determining presence of food product at the inlet based on a peak current, of the current data at a time the motor starts, being greater than a first current threshold; and logging a temperature of the first temperature data based on the peak current being greater than the first current threshold.
Automated Food/Feed Mass Transport System
A food processing line that includes at least one grinder which grinds or pre-grinds food to form a food mass; at least two mixers which mix the ground or pre-ground food mass or at least two mixer-grinders which further mixes and grinds the ground or pre-ground food mass; and at least one portioning/moulding apparatus to portion and/or mould individual food/feed products. The at least one grinder, the at least two mixers, and the at least one portioning/moulding apparatus are connected by conveyors.

Auger dip apparatus for applying antimicrobial solution
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an auger dip apparatus for the application of antimicrobial solution to raw food. Embodiments of the present disclosure may use an auger as a single moving part to move the food work pieces through the application area for antimicrobial solution. Embodiments of the present disclosure are simple with only one moving auger part to move the food pieces, and the bearing for the moving part, supporting the shaft of the auger, may be configured to be outside of the cabinet with the reservoir of the antimicrobial solution, so that the bearing is not in contact with the antimicrobial solution. This provides for less maintenance and downtime, particularly unscheduled downtime, than a system using more complicated exposed parts. The present disclosure also permits a more compact and lighter configuration for an assembled application unit.
