Confectionery dispensing garment
A confectionery dispensing garment is presented. The invention comprises a garment such as a brassiere with one or more cups shaped substantially as a truncated cone with a first small radius opening and a first large radius opening. The first small radius opening is sized to substantially expose a wearer's nipple. A truncated conic housing with a second small radius opening and a second large radius opening is removably couplable to the garment. The first small radius opening and the second small radius opening are sized substantially the same. Each truncated conic housing is configured to fit over one of the one or more cups of the brassiere such that the second small radius opening aligns with the first small radius opening to expose the wearer's nipple. One or more substantially torus shaped confectionery units is removably coupled to an outside surface of said truncated conic housing.
Gum bases incorporating polymers derived from Russian Dandelion
A chewing gum base comprises rubber derived from Russian Dandelion (TKS). Methods of extracting and purifying the rubber are provided. Gum base compositions and methods of compensating for variable ratios of elastomer:resin in the rubber are disclosed.
Glycerin- and protein-based foam candy products with probiotic bacteria
The present invention relates to a glycerin- and protein-based candy product comprising probiotic bacteria, said product having a moisture content less than 9% and a water activity (aw) of less than 0.5 and comprising a) glycerin in an amount of at least 5% (w/w), b) at least one saccharide or at least one polyol which is not glycerin, or a mixture thereof, c) at least one protein which is not gelatin, and d) at least one species of a probiotic bacterium, and optionally e) at least one hydrocolloid. In a presently preferred embodiment the protein is a hydrolyzed protein. Further, the invention relates to processes for producing a glycerin- and protein-based candy product comprising probiotic bacteria.
PASTE-LIKE OILY FOODSTUFF
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a paste-like oily foodstuff that contains a preset amount of fats and oils, can be easily handled during preparation and yet has a heat resistance and favorable melting feeling in the mouth. The above problem has been solved by finding that a paste-like oily foodstuff, in which the yield value is increased without increasing the plastic viscosity, can be obtained by using a specific emulsifier and the thus obtained paste-like oily foodstuff has a heat resistance, favorable melting feeling in the mouth and good handling properties during preparation.
CONFECTIONERY PRODUCT AND MULTILAYER CONFECTIONARY ITEM
A confectionery product includes: a center of a paste confectionary material including a semisolid fondant wherein a quantity of liquid syrup is less than a quantity of solid sugar crystals, and at least one compound able to hydrolyze sucrose to glucose and fructose; an intermediate layer of chewy candy material; and a layer of amorphous candy material. Also disclosed is a related multilayer confectionary item including such product.
Natural honey-containing compositions and method of preparation
Compositions comprising cellulosic polymers and natural honey that display reduced instability due to the presence of a chelant that inhibits the activity of naturally occurring cellulases are described. Methods of treating natural honey to inhibit cellulase activity comprising mixing the natural honey with a chelant and optionally heating the mixture are provided. Flavor compositions consisting of natural honey and a chelant, optionally in a carrier are further described.
Rebaudioside B and derivatives
The invention describes compositions that include a stevia sweetener and a salt of a steviol glycoside, wherein the concentration of the components provide an improved taste profile where bitterness, after taste and/or lingering of the stevia sweetener is decreased or eliminated.
Bite-sized ices composed of natural ingredients and method for processing and apparatus for packaging the same
The present invention relates to bite-sized ices, composed of natural ingredients and specially formulated with various Superfoods and everyday health boosters, a method for processing, and apparatus for packaging the same. The present inventive composition preferably comes in multiple flavors; each flavor preferably comprising a unique ingredient profile. The ingredients are mixed using a thermal process involving a hot fill hold such that the composition and the packaging are sterilized at the same time. The packaging allows the composition to be sold shelf stable and to be a freeze and eat product, thereby providing convenience to the consumer.
Whippable Food Products, Whipped Food Products, and Methods of Making the Same
This disclosure relates generally to whippable food products and methods for making the whippable food products and for making whipped food products therefrom. In one embodiment, a whippable food product has less than 5% by weight fat and includes about 0.5% to about 30% by weight of a dietary fiber; about 50% to about 95% by weight of water; up to about 5% by weight of a protein; up to about 5% by weight of a food starch; up to about 5% by weight of an emulsifier; and up to about 5% by weight of a hydrocolloid. The total amount of the protein, food starch, emulsifier, and hydrocolloid is within the range of about 0.25% to about 20% by weight. In certain embodiments, the whippable food product is substantially free of emulsifier. Such a whippable food product can be capable of being aerated, for example, to a stable foam having an overrun in the range of 100%-700%.
Method for preparing a multilayer confectionary product
Disclosed is a method for preparing a multilayer confectionary product including a paste confectionery center, surrounded by an intermediate layer of chewy candy material, surrounded in turn by a layer of amorphous candy material, to the multilayer confectionery product obtained by the process and to an apparatus for producing the multilayer confectionary product. The multilayer confectionary product can be further coated with a hard coating.
