A threading instrument for sliding an elongated cord or drawstring through an elongated internal passageway of a wearable article, and a method of using the same is provided. The present invention incorporates the threading instrument in a kit along with a plurality of different design drawstrings. In the kit, each drawstring is adapted to be threaded through the elongated internal passageway by way of the threading instrument. The kit enables a user to more efficiently than the prior art to interchange the drawstrings through the elongated internal passageway of the wearable article, thereby enabling an expeditious and selectively swap out of the drawstring, whereby they can use the different drawstrings to convey different messages/moods when desired.
METHOD OF PREPARING ZIPPER ASSEMBLIES FOR APPAREL MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
A method for preparing discontinuous zipper chain for use in apparel manufacturing includes: programming a teeth-securing machine to secure zipper teeth at specified intervals along an edge of each of a pair of zipper tapes; feeding the pair of zipper tapes into the teeth-securing machine so as to secure interlocking zipper teeth to the zipper tapes at the specified intervals, thereby forming a discontinuous zipper chain having successive toothed sections positioned along a length thereof and spaced apart from one another by gap sections without zipper teeth; and spooling or packaging the discontinuous zipper chain for use in apparel manufacturing.
WELDING HELMET HAVING A ZIPPER ARRANGEMENT AND WELDING HELMET ASSEMBLY
The present application relates to a welding helmet comprising a helmet housing and a head cover adapted to be worn on a wearer's head and made of an air-impermeable and flexible material, wherein a zipper arrangement is provided between the helmet housing and the head cover to detachably connect the head cover to the helmet housing around the whole perimeter of an opening of the helmet housing, and wherein after the head cover is connected to the helmet housing, the zipper arrangement is located within the housing of the welding helmet. The present application also relates to an assembly having the welding helmet.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR FASTENING AN ELEMENT TO A SUPPORT STRUCTURE
An apparatus can comprise a first hollow needle and a first ejector pin with a first portion of an outer peripheral surface comprising a stepped recess from the second portion of the outer peripheral surface. In some embodiments, the apparatus may further comprise a second hollow needle. In some embodiments, a first end portion of the cap can be configured for mounting to a nose of the apparatus. The cap can comprise the aperture that may be sized for insertion of the tip of the first hollow needle through the aperture when the cap is removed from the nose. In some embodiments, a nose of the apparatus can comprise a first support surface facing an outer direction and a second support surface facing the outer direction and protruding from the first support surface in the outer direction.
MAGNETIC FASTENER SYSTEM
A garment including a body having a first garment portion and a second garment portion, and a releasable fastener configured to releasably couple the first garment portion to the second garment portion. The garment further includes a covering flap movable between a covering position wherein the covering flap covers the releasable fastener and a retracted position wherein the covering flap does not cover the releasable fastener. The garment has a magnetic fastener system configured to selectively retain the covering flap in the covering position.

An apparatus for applying studs on strips of material includes a lower plate having a plurality of upward-protruding pins, an intermediate plate intended to be disposed on the lower plate and having a plurality of through housings suitable for receiving the body of the studs and letting the pins of the lower plate pass through, and an upper plate with housings to cooperate with the attaching means of the studs. The pins of the lower plate have a head made of a soft material intended to stop against the body of the studs, in such manner not to damage the body of the studs, when the studs are pressed between the pins of the lower plate and the housings of the upper plate.
