PERSONALIZING FOOT SUPPORTS
In an example, a method is described. The method comprises generating object model data representative of a design of a foot support to be produced for a subject according to the object model data. The design of the foot support comprises: a support portion; and an extension portion extending from the support portion. A type of the extension portion is based on a condition of the subject's foot and the extension portion is personalized to the subject based on at least one measurement of the subject's foot.
FOOTWEAR WITH PROTUBERANCES AND CONSTRUCTION THEREOF
A footwear including a vamp and an inner sole defining in combination a Volume of Treatment (VOTf) and an outsole coupled to at least one protuberance, that when in use, comprises a Point of Contact (POC) with a surface, and wherein dimensions of the VOTf are defined by a position of said POC in 3D space in relation to the outsole and/or insole and/or any selected point within the VOTf. Also disclosed are a method and a computer program product program code for manufacturing same.

DETERMINING PROPERTIES OF OUTSOLES
A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The computer-implemented method comprises receiving biometric data relating to a foot of a subject. The computer-implemented method also comprises determining, based on the biometric data, properties of an outsole of an article of footwear to be manufactured for the subject. The computer-implemented method also comprises providing data defining the properties of the outsole for delivery to an additive manufacturing apparatus. An apparatus and a machine-readable medium are also disclosed.
METHOD FOR OPTIMISING INDIVIDUALLY MADE-TO-MEASURE ITEMS OF CLOTHING
A method for optimizing individually tailored garments includes measuring at least one body part and generating a first data set for manufacturing the garment, including measured data, manufacturing the first garment based on the data, the garment including a passive indicator element via which properties and/or changes of the garment due to wear is determined, and use of the first garment. The method includes examining the first garment regarding changes due to wear for producing a second similar garment, thereby generating a second data set containing measured data of the first garment, comparing the second and first data sets, and checking the passive indicator element with regard to information relevant to producing the second garment. Then, a third data set based on the first and second data sets, and the result from the passive indicator element check is generated, and the second garment is manufactured based on the third data set.
Device for leg and foot positioning in a footprint digitalization system
The present invention relates to an apparatus comprising: a seat for a patient; a support platform for the feet of the patient, positioned anteriorly to the seat; an alignment system allowing a patient's leg and its corresponding foot to be aligned in the three space planes in order to determine the tibia correct verticality; a system for properly positioning the foot on the platform including at least turrets able to allow pads to be applied in contact with the talus and/or scaphoid inside the foot and in contact with the calcaneus and/or cuboid outside the foot; a foot measurement system in a neutral position; an automatic real time driving system for properly positioning the leg and foot with numerical indication and direction of the movements to be carried out; a central unit capable for receiving and processing the data detected by the measurement system for footprint digitalization.
3D printed articles of footwear with sensors and methods of forming the same
The present disclosure is related to three-dimensionally printed articles for use in footwear and associated systems and methods. In some embodiments, a three-dimensionally printed article may comprise a closed-cell foam. The closed-cell foam may have a gradient in and/or may be a single integrated material. In some embodiments, a three-dimensionally printed article may comprise a sensor. The use of such arrangements can, according to certain embodiments, allow for the production of improved articles of footwear and/or customized articles of footwear.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR THE CUSTOMIZATION OF A FOOTWEAR, MORE PARTICULARLY OF A SPORTS FOOTWEAR
Apparatus for the customization of footwear, in particular sports footwear, having an element made of thermoplastic material is provided. A method for the customization of footwear using the apparatus is also provided. The apparatus has a heating assembly, for heating the thermoplastic element above a predetermined threshold temperature, and a shaping assembly, for shaping the thermoplastic element while its temperature is above the threshold value, which assemblies are both carried by a common frame. Due to the fact that the heating assembly and the shaping assembly are carried by a single, common frame, it is possible to ensure proper heating and subsequent shaping of the element made of thermoplastic material.
UNITLESS ACTIVITY ASSESSMENT AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A system assesses activity and displays a unitless activity value. A detector senses activity of a user. A processor reads sensed activity data from the detector. A display displays the unitless activity value. An enclosure houses the detector and the processor. The processor periodically reads the sensed activity data from the detector and processes the data to generate an activity number, the number being used to generate the unitless activity value based upon a maximum number and a display range.
