A locking system has a housing and a spring positioned in a body. The system has a locking element on which a spring is attached such that the locking system is inside the housing, and provides locking. At least one fixing element is engaged with the housing, and enables the locking element to be fixed to the housing. At least one guide element is combined with the locking element, and allows the spring to remain on the locking element and the locking element to move in the housing. At least one ring is connected with the guide element and the locking element and ensures the fixation of the locking element to the housing.

METHOD OF IDENTIFYING AND TRACING GEMS BY MARKING JEWELRY BEARING OR SUPPORTING THE GEMS AND JEWELRY SO MARKED
A method to permanently mark an item of plated jewelry involves creating a laminate of two metals, and upper layer typically formed of a more precious metal such as gold, platinum and palladium that do not readily oxidize laminated onto the surface of a less precious metal, such as silver, which is oxidized to create a dark color (e.g. black). A laser is used to create characters and/or designs in the upper layer by vaporizing portions to effectively remove those portions. This exposes the upper surface of the less precious metal that does become oxidized. An oxidizer, such as liquid sulfur, is used to blacken the silver, typically a dark gray. This allows an easy and inexpensive method of archiving information on jewelry bearing or supporting a gem that describes the supported gem rendering the gem more valuable collectible and traceable.
Accessory organization, secure storage and transportation system
A collapsible, foldable accessory organization, secure storage and transportation system includes a jewelry dress or other basic shape, accessory purses for organizing and storing various items, various accessory tabs for holding particular types of accessories, and a hidden inner layer upon which different accessory purses and/or tabs containing accessories can be stored in an inconspicuous manner. This hidden inner layer bears an extra security feature as it hides the jewelry on a layer under the exposed outer layer or layers where people would not think to look.

Anti-theft ring assembly and method of using the same
An anti-theft assembly for deterring theft of a ring is provided. The anti-theft assembly includes a base that can be used to support an electronic article surveillance marker; a product engagement member including a support member that supports the ring during use and a locking member that secures the support member to the base; and an attachment member for securing the ring to the support member. In one embodiment, the support member and the locking member are a single, unitary member. In another embodiment, the support member and the locking member are separate members. Once assembled, upon applying a twisting force to the ring the engagement member rotates within the opening so that the attachment member is not broken.
