Convertible hiking sticks
A convertible hiking stick includes a handle extending along a center axis and a first leg and a second leg that couple to the handle and extend along the center axis. The hiking stick is convertible into a tripod such that the first leg is in a first bore of the handle, the second leg is in a second bore of the handle, the first leg extends transverse to the second leg, and the first leg, the second leg, and the handle together support the hiking stick with respect to a surface.

BOWED POLE
A curved or bowed pole having at least a top portion and a bottom portion is disclosed that is structured and configured to aid persons in motion under their own power. The disclosed pole can be modular and include at least two or more sections that can attach or detach to each other. Additionally, a curved or bowed pole is disclosed that can include a paddle, a ski shoe, or an adjustable hook foot attached to its bottom portion or a cross handle attached to its top portion.
Social Distancing Apparatus
The present disclosure generally relates to a social distancing device to ensure people maintain a recommended social distance apart. The device is compact for ease in carrying when not in use, yet extendible to the recommended social distance, which in the case of COVID-19 was six feet. When in use, the device extends exactly the recommended social distance from the end of the handle to the tip of the device. Hence, a user can hold the device in one hand and ensure that no other person is closer than the tip of the device. By using the device, proper social distancing recommended by the government can be maintained.
CANE FOR WALKING
Provided is a cane for walking comprising: a handle;_a pole having a curve configured for contact with a ground, the pole attached to the handle wherein the handle has at least a portion (as viewed from a top of the cane) with an orientation that is above the horizontal in such configuration that minimizes a person bending a wrist to hold the handle; wherein at least a portion of a length of the handle, as defined as direction of walking, points upwardly in an angle of greater than five degrees.
Independently adjusting multi-legged modular walker/cane assembly
A walker/cane assembly, multi-legged cane, and single-pointed cane may share common parts that may be easily connected and detached to allow a user to convert a walker/cane assembly to a multi-legged cane and/or a single-pointed cane. Accordingly, a user may use a single assembly that may be quickly and easily modified to meet the user's needs, such as his/her current balance or energy level. One or more folding mechanisms may be employed to allow the walker/cane assembly, or the frame forming a portion of the walker/cane assembly, to be easily collapsed and folded. This may allow a user to store the walker/cane assembly, or the frame portion of the assembly, in a smaller amount of space than the expanded walker/cane assembly or the frame portion of the assembly may otherwise occupy.

Walking stick with S-shaped flexure mechanism to store and release energy
A walking stick that takes inspiration from nature to absorb energy in the downward first motion of a walking stride and then return the stored energy to aid in propelling the walker forward in the final forward motion of the walking stride all the while keeping the walker in an ergonomically correct position which minimizes discomfort and reduces wasted energy. The walking stick that is the subject of this patent application utilizes a dual flexure spring configured in an S-shape (hereafter referred to as an S-flexure spring) as an extension of the straight shaft of the stick. The shape and location of the S-flexure spring are such that the spring force helps propel the walker forward.
A Nordic walking/running/excercise pole
The invention consists of a Nordic walking/running/exercise pole, which is equipped with a handle flexing towards the pole shaft.
WEARABLE MULTIPURPOSE UMBRELLA
Systems and methods for transitioning a portable weather canopy between at least two states are described, where a first state provides flexible shaft portions that can be worn on a user's body or wrapped about an object and a second state reversibly couples the flexible shaft portions to provide a rigid shaft to support the canopy. In an aspect, a collapsible, portable weather canopy includes, but is not limited to, a foldable canopy; and a collapsible shaft coupled to the foldable canopy.
