A cosmetic activator system for activating a cosmetic is provided including: an activator having an energy source configured to emit an energy pulse and a controller; and an imprinter having an imprint pattern and at least one activation element configured to be in communication with the energy source, wherein the imprinter is configured to create an imprint on the cosmetic.

The invention relates to a hair treatment method for treating hair by using a hair treatment tool (1). The hair treatment tool (1) includes: a fiber structure member (5) that retains a hair cosmetic; and a liquid-impermeable sheet (3) to which the fiber structure member (5) is fixed. The fiber structure member (5) retains a hair cosmetic that includes a pigment and a film-forming resin, and is sealed in a packaging (2). The hair treatment method of the invention treats hair by: exposing a surface of the fiber structure member (5) of the hair treatment tool (1); and bringing the fiber structure member (5) into contact with hair, and in this state, moving the fiber structure member (5) in a direction of orientation of the hair.

A multifunctional device for the treatment of a patient's hair and skin including a box-shaped body 2 in which a tank 4 for the production of steam V is inserted. The multifunctional device further includes a heater 5, inside the tank 4 for heating a volume of water W contained in the tank 4, and a dispenser 6 for dispensing, through a first conduit 7, steam V from an outlet mouth 8. A system for dispensing hair care formulations including a communication device that includes processing circuitry capable of taking a photo of a user's hair, uploading the photo into an application on a communication device, applying an algorithm to the photo to detect one or more hair features, sensing one or more environmental conditions with one or more sensors, and recommending a hair care treatment regimen of one or more hair care formulas based on the one or more hair features, and the one or more environmental conditions. The present invention relates to a process for coloring keratin fibers, preferably hair, comprising the steps of: (i) applying onto the keratin fibers a composition comprising (a) at least one compound chosen from alkylaminosulfonic acids and those of the formula (I) and (II), (b) at least one direct dye, and (c) at least one alkaline agent; (ii) heating the keratin fibers; and (iii) optionally rinsing and/or drying the keratin fibers. The present invention can provide superior coloring efficiency, such as color intensity and color lastingness.
