A self-locking device for hanging objects on a mounting surface is disclosed. The self-locking device includes a mounting bracket and a locking arm member engaged with a track portion of the mounting bracket. The track portion comprising a pair of guide portions, a pair of lip portions extending from a lower end of the guide portions, a pair of rotation portions extending from an upper end of the guide portions, and a slot extending between the pairs of guide portions, lip portions and rotation portions. The arm member being mated with the track portion such that the arm member is translatable along the track portion. The arm member comprising a tip portion, a base portion positioned at least partially within the slot, and at least one pair of projections extending from the base portion that engage with one of the pairs of guide portions, lip portions and rotation portions.

A self-locking device for hanging objects on a mounting surface is disclosed. Access devices for removably retaining an object are provided, as well as methods of making and using such access devices. The access device can include: a device body including a back side and a front side; an anchor device secured on the back side of the device body, and the anchor device for securing the access device to a supporting structure; and a retention device secured on the front side of the device body, and the retention device for removably retaining the object.

A system for securely depositing an item includes: a deposit box with a door configured to provide selective access to an interior space in the deposit box; a lock mechanism configured to attach to the deposit box to selectively block the door from opening; a first proximity sensor operatively connected to the lock mechanism to operate the lock mechanism to block the door or allow the door to open; a second proximity sensor configured to be attached to at least one of: a delivery person and a piece of delivery equipment; a third proximity sensor; and a first transmitter operatively connected to the lock mechanism and configured to transmit a signal indicative of operating information regarding the lock mechanism, and wherein the deposit box is at least 18 inches wide and 24 inches long.

A device to easily mount and hold hockey sticks to a vertical structure, such as a wall. One embodiment includes a vulcanized rubber or EPDM body portion that can be attached to a wall. The body portion has a front recess that receives the shaft of a hockey stick and grips and holds the stick in place. The device can accommodate standard hockey stick shaft widths, and enables easy insertion and removal of hockey sticks.

A device to easily mount and hold hockey sticks to a vertical structure, such as a wall. One embodiment includes a vulcanized rubber or EPDM body portion that can be attached to a wall. The body portion has a front recess that receives the shaft of a hockey stick and grips and holds the stick in place. The device can accommodate standard hockey stick shaft widths, and enables easy insertion and removal of hockey sticks.

An electric fly swatter housing comprising a front plate, a back plate, and interior vertical bars sized to house a fly swatter head and to align the fly swatter head to avoid snag. The housing may include thin brushes along a housing mouth to brush away any bug residue on the fly swatter. The housing may include a removable chamber at the bottom of the housing to dispose of any bug residue.

An electric fly swatter housing comprising a front plate, a back plate, and interior vertical bars sized to house a fly swatter head and to align the fly swatter head to avoid snag. The housing may include thin brushes along a housing mouth to brush away any bug residue on the fly swatter. The housing may include a removable chamber at the bottom of the housing to dispose of any bug residue.

An apparatus and related methods includes a base attached to an upright structure (such as a street light pole), a mounting bracket that releasably engages the base while supporting a hanging banner, and an install adapter that releasably holds the mounting bracket and banner until the mounting bracket attaches to the base. A removal adapter facilitates disengaging the mounting bracket and banner from the base. The mounting bracket and install adapter (and removal adapter) are attached to a pole and engage (and disengage) remotely and without using separate fasteners, thus allowing a worker to install (or remove) banners high on the upright structure while standing on the ground. The base and mounting bracket have tapered shapes that wedgingly engage, secured by a spring-biased friction retainer. The install adapter and removal adapter have structures that facilitate remote install and removal of the mounting bracket from the base.

A holder for inverted containers has a holder body with four vertical or near vertical outer walls and a guiding funnel passing through the holder body from top to bottom. A top surface of the holder body is cylindrically curved to support the shoulders of a container. At least one notch is present in the holder body for accommodating a handle of a container. All the surfaces have at least one linear or convex sectional profile and are pocketless so that dishwashing water drains off the holder in every orientation. The holder may include a back plate for additional support, magnetic connectors for connecting to other holders, or an electronic communication device for detecting a tag on a container. The holder may be made in two pieces that fasten together.
