Roller blind arrangement with lateral guide
A roller blind arrangement for shading a transparent vehicle section having a roller blind web, which can be wound to form a roller blind winding and is guided at its lateral edges in relation to a vertical longitudinal center plane of the roller blind in each case in one guide rail, as well as a drive device having a drive pinion which drives two driving means which are each guided in one of the guide rails. The driving means are in each case designed as a toothed belt. The toothed belt can have at least one flat surface for coupling to the roller blind web, and the driving means are joined within the guide rails to the roller blind web in each case solely via their respective flat surfaces and are detached from the roller blind web in a section arranged between the guide rails and the roller blind winding.
Screen device
A screen apparatus X1 includes: a screen member 22; an inner guider 60 extending in a vertical direction of the screen member 22 and holding a side end 22a of the screen member 22 movably in the vertical direction of the screen member 22 while regulating a displacement of the screen member 22 in a lateral direction of the screen member 22; and an outer guider 50 extending in the vertical direction of the screen member 22 and having a recess 54 for accommodating the inner guider 60, wherein the outer guider 50 holds the inner guider 60 dismountably from the recess 54 in the lateral direction of the screen member 22.
Flexible door assembly
A roll up flexible door assembly includes a flexible door with guides mounted along the opposed sides. Opposed tracks are mounted at a spaced distance from one another with each of the tracks having inner edges positioned opposite one another. An angled guide liner is mounted to each track and extends longitudinally along at least a portion of the track. The angled guide liner is angled with respect to the inner edge with the angle increasing from the top to the bottom. The guides are received within the tracks and adapted to engage the angled guide liner as the flexible door is raised and lowered in the tracks. The guides and the angled guide liner tighten the flexible door as the flexible door is lowered.
Apparatus for reducing air flow through an opening between adjacent rooms
A system for maintaining thermal separation between first and second adjacent rooms or spaces. The system includes a vestibule with at least a first compartment, and other embodiments may include two or more compartments, such that the vestibule provides a passageway between the first and second rooms. At least one blower draws air from the first room through an air intake, and back into the first room through an exhaust. The system further includes an exhaust port from the first compartment in fluid communication with the exhaust, to exhaust air from the first compartment into the first room. During operation, a vacuum is formed within the first compartment that provides thermal separation between the first and second adjacent rooms.
Hembar guide cable finial
The system includes a finial that is configured to be removed from a guide cable, while the guide cable is still connected on both ends. The hembar includes a finial on each end, wherein the first finial includes an external channel at an angle and the second finial includes an external channel with an opposite angle. The hembar is rotated in order to receive the guide cable into the external channel, then reverse rotated so the guide cable translates in an internal channel. The system eliminates or reduces the need for a guide cable to be threaded through an eyelet on the finial of the hembar. The system eliminates or reduces the need to detach a cable, prior to uninstalling the shade system.
Apparatus for retaining a blind, and blind assembly
An apparatus for retaining a blind comprises: a first elongate element for attachment to a supporting structure; a second elongate element attachable to the first elongate element, in order to at least partially form a guide track providing a guide channel in which a part to be guided may be constrained, the first and second elements together at least partially defining the external surfaces of the guide track. The second elongate element is attachable to the first elongate element by displacement of the second element relative to the first element. The direction of displacement may be a direction substantially transverse to the direction of elongation of the first element.
Deck curtain system and method of use
A deck curtain and mounting system using vertical posts attachable to a deck rail or decking form a structure supporting curtains hung from cross members positioned between the vertical posts to surround or encompass a deck area. The method of shading or securing the privacy of a deck area includes attaching vertical posts to a rail cap of a deck structure surrounding a deck area and attaching rotatable horizontal connectors to the vertical posts so that cross members may be connected between the vertical posts for hanging privacy curtains from the cross members around the deck structure.
Cushion for shading system
The invention describes a cushion for shading system of the type comprising a piece of cloth slidingly fastened to a section bar of an upright. A raceway with a substantially C-shaped cross section serves to fasten the cushion to a section bar edge, and a flexible plastic tongue, having an end on the raceway and an opposed end spaced therefrom in order to contact the upright, serves as a spring between the section bar and the upright, allowing the section bar to come nearer to the upright in a compression phase or to be spaced in a predetermined way in the absence of compression.
