Bathtub platform insert
A bathtub platform insert is described herein (e.g., a footrest, backrest, or table). For example, a bathtub footrest insert herein allows a bather to adjust the length of the “sitting portion” of the bathtub, by securely inserting the bathtub footrest to establish a customizable distance between a backrest of the bathtub to the footrest, such that a bather of shorter height may comfortably stay above the water while soaking in a bathtub. In one embodiment, an example bathtub platform insert herein may comprise: a support surface; adjustable securing members extending outwardly widthwise from the support surface; and gripping end pieces on each end of the adjustable securing members; wherein the adjustable securing members are adjustable to extend an overall width of the bathtub platform insert between opposing pairs of gripping end pieces to secure the opposing pairs of gripping end pieces against a wall of a bathtub.
Safety device and systems for bath enclosures
Disclosed are systems and devices including handholds that can be added to bath enclosures to improve safety of the user. The handhold can be securely attached to a shower surface or a bath surface. A handle is configured to provide the handhold by allowing a user to grasp thereto. A support substrate is coupled to the handle providing a rigid base. A first adhesive layer couples the support substrate to the shower surface or the bath surface and is configured to support the weight of the system upon mounting the system to the shower surface or the bath surface. A second adhesive layer couples the support substrate to the shower surface or the bath surface and is configured to support the weight of the system and a weight applied by the user after curing.
Freestanding child bath safety device
A device for bathing children is provided that includes: a hollow body; a plurality of height adjustable legs extending outward from the body; a funnel shaped insert in the hollow body at the distal end thereof, the funnel shaped insert having an opening to receive a vertical flow of a water and an exit extending outward from a bottom of the funnel shaped insert in an orientation that redirects the vertical flow of the water; a tubular channel disposed within the hollow body and coupled at a first end to the exit of the funnel shaped insert and extending toward the proximal end of the hollow body; and a spout rotatably coupled to the tubular channel at a proximal end opposite the first end.
Field trimmable receptor
A shower system for use in a shower environment includes a receptor. The receptor includes a fluid collection area and a rim. The fluid collection area includes a base forming a bottom surface of the fluid collection area and an opening extending through the base to allow water to drain from the fluid collection area via the opening. The rim extends outward from the fluid collection area along at least a portion of a perimeter of the fluid collection area. The rim includes a resizing feature configured to facilitate removing a portion of the rim to change a size of the receptor in one or more dimensions.
Bathing wall system
A bathing wall system including a back wall, an end wall, and a coupler connecting the back wall and the end wall. The coupler includes a U-shaped receiving slot supported by the back wall, and a male connector supported by the end wall and received within the U-shaped receiving slot.
Ergonomic grab bar
A grab bar is disclosed. The grab bar includes an undulating grab portion. The undulating grab portion includes an outwardly angled section and an inwardly angled section that are connected by one or more parallel sections (i.e., one or more “plateau sections”). At one end, the grab portion includes a first mounting portion that can be connected (e.g., mounted) to a fixed surface. At its other end, the grab portion includes a second mounting portion that can be connected (e.g., mounted) to the fixed surface or any other fixed surface. The plateau section may include one or more inwardly extending subportions.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MECHANICAL BATH MAT
A system and method for a mechanical shower mat with a removable rechargeable battery-operated system with a drainage hose or a fixed system submerged into the bathroom floor that is wired directly into a power source, with a drainage hose that will drain directly into the drainage system of the shower/hot tub/bathtub allowing its users to collect the residual water from their bodies as the step out of the shower/hot tub/bathtub etc. onto the mechanical shower mat directly into a funnel system that will re-dispense this water back into the shower/hot tub/bathtub etc. or directly onto the shower's drainage system.
Non-contact power transmission device and non-contact power transmission/reception system
Provided is non-contact power transmission/reception technique which is easy to be used while ensuring consideration for safety. A non-contact power transmission device 100 that wirelessly transfers generated transmission power to a non-contact power reception device 200 comprises a transmission power generation unit 120 configured to perform generation of the transmission power and a control unit 117 configured to control the generation of the transmission power. The control unit 117 is further configured to control the generation of the transmission power which is performed by the transmission power generation unit 120 in accordance with a surrounding environment in which at least one of the non-contact power transmission device 100 and the non-contact power reception device 200, or at least one of states of these devices.
Bathtub closure systems and methods
A bathtub closure system may include a step configured to be retrofit onto a bathtub and a plug. The step may include a first side panel, a second side panel, and an elongated platform defining a cavity configured to facilitate ingress and egress into the bathtub, and a first attachment recess extending downward from the first top surface less than an entire height of the first side panel or extending downward from the second top surface less than an entire height of the second side panel. The plug includes a body and a first attachment member affixed to the body and corresponding to the first attachment recess defined by the step. The plug cooperates with the step to form a substantially watertight seal when the first attachment member is mated with the first attachment recess and the body of the plug is positioned at least partially within the cavity.
