A multi-use applicator and methods for dispensing compounds. The applicator is configured for use with a compressible tubular container. The applicator has a holding member, where the holding member incorporates a fastening mechanism to secure the compressible tubular container. Once the compressible tubular container is secured to the holding member, a cover may be placed over the container and connected to the holding member. The cover may include at least one compressible side which when pressed would facilitate the extraction of the materials out of the compressible tubular container.

A fire resistant cabinet has a housing delimiting an interior space for accommodating a sanitizer container holding a flammable liquid. The wall of the housing comprises at least one exterior shell part made of at least one material selected from the group consisting of melamine resin, corian or fiber-reinforced concrete.

A travel case for a bar of soap is provided. In various embodiments, the travel case permits accelerated drying of the bar of soap and prolongs the life of the soap. The travel case is designed to maintain the bar of soap in a fixed horizontal and vertical position during transport. The travel case includes a lid and a base with a walled receiving portion. The receiving portion is configured to receive a bar of soap that is attached to a soap support and hold the soap support such that the bar of soap is prevented from contacting the surface of the soap case. A method of reversibly securing a bar of soap within a soap case while maintaining the soap in a fixed horizontal and vertical position is also provided herein.

A travel case for a bar of soap is provided. In various embodiments, the travel case permits accelerated drying of the bar of soap and prolongs the life of the soap. The travel case is designed to maintain the bar of soap in a fixed horizontal and vertical position during transport. The travel case includes a lid and a base with a walled receiving portion. The receiving portion is configured to receive a bar of soap that is attached to a soap support and hold the soap support such that the bar of soap is prevented from contacting the surface of the soap case. A method of reversibly securing a bar of soap within a soap case while maintaining the soap in a fixed horizontal and vertical position is also provided herein.

A holder for inverted containers has a holder body with four vertical or near vertical outer walls and a guiding funnel passing through the holder body from top to bottom. A top surface of the holder body is cylindrically curved to support the shoulders of a container. At least one notch is present in the holder body for accommodating a handle of a container. All the surfaces have at least one linear or convex sectional profile and are pocketless so that dishwashing water drains off the holder in every orientation. The holder may include a back plate for additional support, magnetic connectors for connecting to other holders, or an electronic communication device for detecting a tag on a container. The holder may be made in two pieces that fasten together.

The detector may determine a first measurement of light while the emitter is not transmitting light. The detector may determine a second measurement of light responsive to the emitter transmitting light. The detector may determine a third measurement of light based upon a comparison of the first measurement of light with the second measurement of light. The detector may be direct current (DC) coupled while determining the third measurement of light.

Alternatively, a capsule may have a weak point (12) so that squeezing the capsule (1) causes the weak point (12) to rupture and release the substance (3) from the capsule (1).
