Energy application planning apparatus
The invention relates to an energy application planning apparatus for planning an application of energy to an object (3) like a tumor. An energy application element representation represents an energy application element (5) like an ablation needle including an energy application part for applying energy and a sensing part (7). An arrangement of the energy application element (5) with respect to the object (3) is determined depending on the positions of the energy application part and the sensing part (7) with respect to the energy application element (5) as defined by the energy application element representation and depending on the object representation. The application of energy can therefore not only be planned such that the application of energy is performed as desired, but also such that the object and/or a surrounding of the object are sensible as desired. In this way, the planning procedure can be improved.
DETAINEE HEALTH ALERT DEVICE
A health alert device includes a physiological sensor and processing circuitry. The physiological sensor captures physiological data, including heart rate and blood oxygen data, of a detainee. The processing circuitry repeatedly receives the physiological data, calculates a health metric parameter based on a combination of the physiological data, determines a health metric baseline based on a series of health metric parameters determined over a baseline determination duration, determines first and second risk alert thresholds based on the health metric baseline, determines a health metric delta based on newly received physiological data and the health metric baseline, and transmits first and second risk alert communications to an alert device to cause the alert device to display first and second risk alerts on an alert device display in response to the health metric delta exceeding the first and second risk alert thresholds, respectively.
Method And System For Abnormality Detection
A method, including: receiving observation data from one or more data-capturing devices, the observation data representing a presence of an individual; processing the observation data to generate identity data representing the identity of the individual, and to detect at least one physiological characteristic or behavioural characteristic of the individual; retrieving behavioural profile data of the individual based on the identity data; and
comparing the detected characteristic to at least one expected characteristic represented by the behavioural profile data of the individual to identify an abnormality of the individual.
Information provision method, information processing system, information terminal, and information processing method
In order to objectively grasp a stress state of a user and to prevent postpartum depression, biological gas information is acquired via a network, where the biological gas information indicates a concentration of 2-ethyl-1-hexanol of the user and is obtained by a sensor that detects 2-ethyl-1-hexanol released from a skin surface of the user. From a memory storing information including an upper limit of a normal range of the concentration of 2-ethyl-1-hexanol per unit period, the information indicating the upper limit of the normal range is read out. When a frequency in the unit period with which the concentration of 2-ethyl-1-hexanol of the user exceeds the upper limit of the normal range is determined to have an increasing tendency based on the biological gas information obtained during a pregnancy period of the user, the information related to stress of the user is output to an information terminal of the user.
AXIAL LOAD CELL
A load cell apparatus includes a base member, a cap member, a number of first members provided between the base member and the cap member and forming at least a portion of a support wall of the load cell apparatus, and a plurality of strain gauges directly coupled to the number of first members, the plurality of strain gauges being positioned to measure an axial load applied to the load cell in a direction extending from the cap member to the base member.
Breast shield arrangement for breast pump, breast pump and method of operation
The present invention relates to a breast shield arrangement (1) for a breast pump (2) comprising: a breast shield (3) for receiving a user's breast therein, and a sensor (4) for transmitting an input signal into the breast and receiving a corresponding reception signal in response, said reception signal indicating changes in milk flow in the breast.
Gas cylinder control system and gas cylinder for use therewith system
The present invention provides a control system (10) for managing the supply of bottled gas to users (12), the system comprising: a gas cylinder system (14) having a gas cylinder (15) for receiving and distributing gas contained therein; a first electronic monitoring system (16) associated with said gas cylinder system (14) and operable to monitor parameters associated with said cylinder system (14); a second monitoring system (18) associated with one or more locations (A-F) in which said cylinder may reside and being operable to monitor the presence or absence of said cylinder within said one or more locations (A-F); and a computer system (20) in communication with each of said second monitors (18) for receiving information therefrom relating to the presence or absence of said cylinder system (14) in said one or more locations (A-F).
GAIT AND POSTURE ANALYSIS
Systems and methods described herein provide techniques for analyzing gait and posture of a subject with respect to control data. The systems and methods, in some embodiments, processes video data, identifies keypoints representing body parts, determines metrics data at a stride level, and compares the metrics data to control data.
