TEETH WHITENING PRODUCT CONTAINING PIEZOELECTRIC MATERIAL
The present invention discloses a teeth whitening product containing a piezoelectric material. The present invention uses a piezoelectric material with piezoelectric effect as a whitening ingredient of the teeth whitening product. The teeth whitening product is applied to teeth and exerts pressure on the tooth surface to activate piezoelectric properties of the piezoelectric material. Thus, abundant reactive species are produced to degrade teeth stains, achieving teeth whitening. The teeth whitening product of the invention is safe and nontoxic; a teeth whitening method is easy to operate, does not cause damage to oral soft tissues, enamel layers on the tooth surface, and the tooth structure, and obtains a long-lasting teeth whitening effect.
Multi-functional visual electric toothbrush
Disclosed is a multi-functional visual electric toothbrush, including a main unit, an oral viewer, an interdental cleaning appliance and an electric toothbrush head. The oral viewer is connected to the main unit, the interdental cleaning appliance is connected to the front end of the oral viewer, and the electric toothbrush head is connected to a toothbrush driving mechanism. A circuit system and a control system of the main unit can not only transfer the energy of a power supply to the toothbrush driving mechanism, so as to drive the electric toothbrush head to work for large-area oral cleaning, but also connect a lighting system, an observation system and a switch of the oral viewer to control the oral viewer to work. The interdental cleaning appliance may be used cooperatively with the oral viewer to perform targeted cleaning on difficult-to-clean food debris in an oral cavity.
AUTOMATED DENTAL DRILL
An automated dental drill includes a dental drill housing that includes a mouthpiece housing section and a one or more degrees of freedom drive housing section; an end effector drive support having a shaft section that is at least partially positioned in the mouthpiece housing section, and an end effector for the cutting of a native tooth or dental appliance to a desired tolerance. The end effector is positioned on the end effector drive support. The automated dental drill also includes a power source that drives the end effector and is coupled to the end effector and a one or more degrees of freedom drive assembly to direct the end effector along one or more degrees of freedom relative to the mouthpiece housing section.
REMOVABLE DENTAL APPLIANCE INCLUDING POSITIONING MEMBER
A removable dental appliance may include an appliance body configured to at least partially surround a plurality of teeth. The appliance body may include a unitary material defining a shell shaped to receive at least one tooth of the patient; a spring member integrally formed with the shell; and a positioning member integrally formed with the shell. The spring member may be configured to receive an attachment affixed to the at least one tooth. The spring member may be configured to apply a spring force to the attachment to cause movement of the at least one tooth toward a desired position when the removable dental appliance is worn by the patient. The positioning member may be configured to facilitate engagement of the spring member with the attachment in response to a positioning force being applied to the positioning member.
LATERAL BRANCH DETECTION DEVICE, LATERAL BRANCH DETECTION PROBE, LATERAL BRANCH DETECTION METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR SAME
Provided is a lateral branch detection probe whereby the condition of a lateral branch can be detected merely by inserting the lateral branch detection probe to an apex. A lateral branch detection probe detects, after insertion thereof into a root canal of a tooth, the presence/absence of a lateral branch and the position of the lateral branch in the root canal axis direction, the lateral branch detection probe being provided with a plurality of measurement electrodes extending to different positions in the root canal axis direction at predetermined intervals. The measurement electrodes constitute a measurement terminal group in which each measurement electrode is covered with an insulator except for one end portion, and another end portion thereof is connectable to a detection-purpose power supply on a detection device side.
Tremor Control Device
A tremor control device comprising a structure positioned within a patient's maxilla that removably engages a patient's maxilla and rigidly maintains the structure in a desired position, a pressure applicator platform rigidly affixed to the structure and positioned under a single trigger point with a surface that removably engages a pressure applicator, and the pressure applicator engages and applies a determined amount of pressure to the single trigger point on a posterior medial gumline of a lingual aspect of the patient's maxilla, where the determined amount of pressure selected is found to reduce the patient's tremors, whereby the structure is placed and secured within the patient's maxilla and the pressure applicator is affixed to the pressure applicator platform whereupon placement of the structure within the maxilla, the pressure applicator engages the single trigger point and applies the determined pressure thereby reducing body tremors.
DENTAL APPLIANCES, DENTAL SOLUTION SELECTION, AND ENHANCEMENTS AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF PRODUCING THE SAME
A method of producing a retention piece having a therapeutic package configured to provide a desired therapeutic profile for the recipient, the method including: obtaining data descriptive of mandibular and maxillary arches of the recipient; specifying an appropriate guidance package based on the desired therapeutic profile for the recipient; modeling a virtual representation of at least one retention piece configured to fit at least one of the mandibular and maxillary arches; and generating data that can be used by a computer aided machining (CAM) process to create at least one physical retention piece comprising the specified therapeutic package configured to provide the desired therapeutic profile.
PHOTOSENSITIVE PRESSURE ALARM DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC CLEANING CARE APPLIANCES
A photosensitive pressure alarm device for electric cleaning care appliances comprises at least one light source, at least one photosensitive unit, a light reflecting surface, a detection circuit, and an alarm portion. The light source and the photosensitive unit are provided on a movable component or a movable component on a same side, and the light reflecting surface is provided on a stationary component or the movable component. Under the combined action of an external force (F.sub.1) and an elastic force (F.sub.2), the light reflecting surface or the light source and the photosensitive unit provided on the movable component can move with the movable component, and the incident angle and the reflection angle of the light on the light reflecting surface change, causing that the light receiving area of the photosensitive unit changes, and in turn resulting in change of the electrical performance of the photosensitive unit.
TOOTHPICK FOR ORAL HYGIENE
The present invention relates to a toothpick for oral hygiene that has ultra-slim dimensions that allow deep, efficient and effective cleaning of the interproximal space, to remove the majority of food remains. The toothpick is formed from any type of flexible material and the shape thereof is formed by straight or curved lines or combinations thereof limited to the dimensions of the toothpick (length by width by thickness), providing properties of flexibility, ultra-lightness and ultra-fineness. The invention is mainly characterised in that the end sections of the toothpick are formed by straight or curved lines or combinations thereof, which narrow progressively, the ends thereof forming symmetrical or asymmetrical, regular, irregular, organic, hand-drawn or accidental figures with a diameter, axis, base, height, straight side, perpendicularity, cross-section or oblique section of less than 0.75 mm with respect to the width of the end section of the toothpick. The invention is further characterised in that the end section of the toothpick can extend longitudinally between 0.1 and 20 mm to the end of the end section, with respect to the length of the toothpick.
