HATCHLING SUPPORTS, HATCHLING SUPPORT SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Hatchling supports, hatchling support systems, and methods of using the same. The hatchling supports and methods of using the same may employ a cradle in combination with a calming band, with the cradle and calming band providing gentle support of a hatchling supported in the hatchling supports. The hatchling support systems and methods of using the same may include a cam with cam sections having different cam radii may provide the ability to gently transition the support and restraint provided to hatchlings during the loading and unloading of hatchlings from hatchling supports. In some cases, compression delivered to hatchlings in hatchling supports having both a cradle and calming band may be adjusted.
APPARATUS FOR HOMEOTHERMIC MANIPULATION OF LIVE ANIMAL FOR MICROSCOPIC IMAGING OF INTERNAL TISSUE
The present invention relates to a fixation and body temperature maintaining apparatus for fixing a small animal in order to generate a high-resolution micro image of a predetermined tissue of the small animal within a biomicroscope with an object lens, which includes: a plate heater with a heat wire installed therein, on which the small animal is enabled to be directly placed; a glass heater holder fixed to a hole of the plate heater; and a glass heater fixed to the glass heater holder, and located above the tissue of the small animal and maintaining flatness of the tissue, and increasing a temperature of the tissue itself, in which a cover glass serving to adjust a refractive index of the object lens and a heat wire heater are integrally formed. In an embodiment of the present invention, a body temperature of a live small animal which is an object to be observed with a biomicroscope is maintained to be constant.
SYSTEM FOR DETECTING THE VITAL STATUS OF ANIMALS
The invention relates to a system for acquiring the vital status of animals, which comprises at least one first device for acquiring vital functions, and at least one signal transmission means, wherein the first device has at least two first and/or second sensors arranged at a distance from each other. The components of the system for acquiring the vital status of animals can be detachably connected with each other by connectors.
The invention further relates to a method for determining the vital status of animals, wherein the vital functions are acquired by a first device with at least two first and/or second sensors arranged at a distance from each other, wherein the acquired data are transmitted by at least one signal transmission means to a data processing device, and there processed and evaluated, and from the data processing device to an external output device, which outputs the vital status of animals.

COMBINATION INJECTOR AND SPRAY DEVICE
Disclosed medicament administration devices can include a plurality of stations including at least an injection station and a spray station. The injection station can be configured to automatically administer a medicament to one or more subjects using one or more injectors, and the spray station can be configured to automatically administer a medicament to the one or more subjects using one or more spray nozzles.
INFLATABLE ANIMAL SUPPORT APPARATUS
An animal support apparatus includes an inflatable base including an interior volume. The interior volume of the inflatable base receives air to inflate the base to a range of air pressures. The inflatable base defines a recess configured to support an animal. At least one attachment strap secures the animal in the recess of the inflatable base or directly onto an upper surface of the inflatable base. Eyelets are coupled to the inflatable base at various locations to secure the animal in the recess of the inflatable base or to the upper surface of the inflatable base. The eyelets may also be employed to secure the inflatable base to a support table. A valve passes air into or out of the interior volume of the inflatable base to inflate the inflatable base to the range of air pressures.
