An object of the present invention is to provide a chair-type phototherapy device that enables a patient to perform light irradiation accurately targeted at a treatment site in a seated position on a chair and consequently achieves effective phototherapy even when the treatment site is in the back region that the patient is unable to see, for example, as in light irradiation for dysuria patients and patients with pain, and the patient performs light irradiation by himself/herself at home. The present invention provides a chair-type phototherapy device having a seat on which a patient is seated. The chair-type phototherapy device includes a radiation module configured to emit radiation light toward a living body, a drive module positioned behind the patient for moving the radiation module, and a fixing module fixing the drive module to the seat.

A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system for infants and children and imaging method thereof are disclosed. The system includes: a base; a housing, with a bottom fixed to the base; a monitoring shield, pivotably connected to the top of the housing; a pair of open magnets, which are spaced apart from each other and fixed to the base by a magnet holder such that an imaging area is defined between them; an operating table, fixed in the imaging area; an incubator, movably connected to the operating table and configured to house an infant or child and to adjust the position of the infant or child in the imaging area. The monitoring shield has a closed configuration and an open configuration. In the closed configuration of the monitoring shield, the magnet holder, the open magnet, the operating table and the incubator are all situated within a space delimited by the base, the housing and the monitoring shield. With this optimized structure, the system allows a radiologist to more accurately and intuitively adjust and understand the position and angle at which the infant or child is imaged. In addition, with the incubator, the system can provide the infant or child with a safer and more comfortable environment. Therefore, it entails a systematic MRI solution for newborns, infants and children.

A trolley system configured to transport a patient within an MRI environment includes a patient support portion, a base portion configured for movement relative to a floor, a lift coupled to the patient support portion and the base portion, an electric motor coupled to the lift, and an electric blower coupled to the patient transfer device. The lift is configured to change the elevation of the patient support portion relative to the base portion. The motor is mounted such that the elevation of the motor is fixed relative to base portion. The trolley system is positionable adjacent an MRI apparatus within the MRI environment and the magnetic field of the MRI does not interfere with the operation of the motor or blower. The trolley system may further include a patient transfer device having an air bearing. The blower is configured to deliver air to the air bearing.
