Patient litter basket with spin control
11547617 · 2023-01-10 ·

A patient litter basket spin control assembly for use on a patient litter basket is provided. The assembly comprises thruster unit for discharging an air stream and is mounted on the patient litter basket. At least one sensor is associated with the thruster unit for sensing rotational movement or spin of the patient litter basket, and a power source is provided for powering the thruster unit and the sensor. A clamp member mounts on the patient litter basket and releasably receives the thruster unit. The sensors modulate the force of the air stream from the thruster unit so that the air stream counters the rotational movement of the patient litter basket to stabilize the patient litter basket by preventing the spin.

Mobile hyperbaric unit

The present invention is a mobile hyperbaric unit including a vehicle having a vehicle chassis with a front cabin and a rear bed. A partition can extend upwardly from the rear bed at a position next to the cabin. A pod can be removably attachable to the vehicle chassis, the pod can be sized and shaped to occupy and rest upon the rear bed. A detachable connection can enable attachment or detachment of the pod from the vehicle chassis. The partition can have a portion that extends at least partially over the pod top wall. A pod chassis enables the pod to be transported independently of the vehicle chassis. A control station that has ambient pressure can be located in between the partition and the pod. A desired pressure that is not ambient pressure can be maintained within the pod interior by support systems on the vehicle.

Hyperbaric vehicle and transfer under pressure (TUP) unit

The present invention relates to a hyperbaric ambulance and transfer-under-pressure (TUP) unit. More particularly, the present invention relates to a vehicle for emergency transport and treatment of a patient that is capable of providing hyperbaric oxygen treatment to the patient, and a mobile unit for transferring the patient from the vehicle to a medical care facility. More particularly, the present invention includes a vehicle having a driver section and a vehicle chassis having a patient section that includes a hyperbaric treatment chamber. An entrance module can be positioned in between the driver section and the patient section, the entrance module having a communication and control compartment and a pressure module. The pressure module can have at least two pressure hatches, wherein at least one of the at least two pressure hatches allows personnel to enter the pressure module from the control compartment, and at least one of the at least two pressure hatches allows personnel to enter the treatment chamber from the pressure module. The pressure module enables a user to selectively enter or exit the entrance module while simultaneously maintaining a selected elevated pressure value in said patient section, and preferably enables a user to selectively enter or exit said hyperbaric treatment chamber from the entrance module while simultaneously maintaining a selected elevated pressure value in the patient section.

Vehicle interlock system

A vehicle interlock system includes a wheelchair fixing device configured to fix a wheelchair to a vehicle, a seatbelt device having a seatbelt configured such that, an occupant seated in the wheelchair wears the seatbelt, and a control unit. The control unit is configured to limit at least one of an upper limit traveling speed and an upper limit acceleration of the vehicle or output a warning signal, or to output a warning signal while limiting at least one of the upper limit traveling speed and the upper limit acceleration of the vehicle depending on at least one of the following conditions: whether the wheelchair is fixed to the vehicle with the wheelchair fixing device; whether the occupant is wearing the seatbelt; and so forth.

CONTROL APPARATUS, SYSTEM, VEHICLE, AND MEDICAL EXAMINATION SUPPORT METHOD

A control apparatus includes a controller configured to acquire driving data regarding driving of a vehicle in which a medical examination can be performed, determine a driving condition of the vehicle based on the acquired driving data, and adjust implementation timing of at least one examination item included in the medical examination according to the determined driving condition.

INFECTION CONTROL VEHICLE

An infection control vehicle includes a floor material. The floor material includes a plurality of holes that is open on an upper end. The holes are configured to capture a droplet. For example, a dimension of each of the holes is set so that the droplet inside the hole remains inside the hole.

RADIATION DEVICE, RADIOGRAPHY DEVICE, CONSOLE, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

A radiation device is wirelessly connected to a radiography device that generates dynamic image data and which controls sequential radiation. The radiation device includes a signal generator and a first determiner. The signal generator generates (i) first pulse signals emitted by the radiography device, (ii) second pulse signals synchronized with a first count value obtained by counting up the first pulse signals, and (iii) a second count value obtained by counting up the second pulse signals. The first determiner determines whether to start radiation based on a delay time which is a difference between a first time point count value and a second time point count value. The first time point count value indicates a time point at which a radiation permission signal is transmitted. The second time point count value indicates a time point at which the radiation permission signal is received.

Method and apparatus for actuating a medical imaging device

A method is for actuating a medical imaging device for generating a second three-dimensional image dataset including a target region in a region of interest of a patient with a functional impairment. The method includes providing a first three-dimensional image dataset including the region of interest of the patient; identifying the target region based on the first three-dimensional image dataset, a partial region of the region of interest with the functional impairment being determined; determining an imaging parameter for generating the second three-dimensional image dataset based on the identified target region; and actuating the medical imaging device based on the imaging parameter for the generation of the second three-dimensional image dataset.
