Massage chair and method for operating the massage chair
A massage chair and a method of operating a massage chair, in which operations are controlled by executing artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and/or machine learning algorithms in a 5G environment connected for Internet-of-Things. The method of operating a massage chair includes obtaining, from a user terminal, first information corresponding to geographic information generated by the user terminal, obtaining, from the user terminal, second information corresponding to motion information generated by the user terminal, obtaining, from the user terminal, third information corresponding to usage information of the user terminal, generating fourth information as additional information using one or more among the first information, the second information, and the third information, and determining an optimal driving mode with respect to a user of user terminal by using the first information to the fourth information.
Methods and systems for treating cardiovascular disease using an implantable electroacupuncture device
A method of treating cardiovascular disease in a patient includes generating, by an implantable stimulator configured to be implanted beneath a skin surface of the patient, stimulation sessions at a duty cycle that is less than 0.05 and applying, by the implantable stimulator in accordance with the duty cycle, the stimulation sessions to a location, within the patient, that is associated with the cardiovascular disease. The duty cycle is a ratio of T3 to T4. Each stimulation session included in the stimulation sessions has a duration of T3 minutes and occurs at a rate of once every T4 minutes.

Massage apparatus providing pulsed electromagnetic field
A massage apparatus providing a pulsed electromagnetic field may comprise: a massage unit which comprises a mount frame provided so as to be movable along the body of a user, and an acupressure module protrudingly provided to the mount frame so as to apply pressure to the body of the user; a pulsed electromagnetic field generator which is provided to the mount frame so as to be independent from the acupressure module, and which generates a pulsed electromagnetic field by means of power applied thereto; and a controller which controls the operation of the acupressure module or the generation of the pulsed electromagnetic field. According to such massage apparatus, a pulsed electromagnetic field may be generated by having the pulsed electromagnetic field generator be provided to the massage unit so as to be separate from the acupressure module or air cells performing a massaging operation. In addition, an effect such as body tissue cell activation or damaged cell healing of the pulsed electromagnetic field may be provided when the massaging operation is being performed. Thus, compared to when only a pulsed electromagnetic field is provided without a massaging operation, or when only a continuous electromagnetic field is provided, fatigue of a user may be alleviated, or a disease or illness treatment or prevention effect may be doubled. In addition, since the pulsed electromagnetic field generator is arranged so as to be independent from the acupres sure module or air cells, the range of effects of the electromagnetic field may be expanded so as to include providing a pulsed electromagnetic field to even nearby sites to which pressure is not applied by the acupressure module or air cells, and since the pulsed electromagnetic field generator may be independently detached or replaced, costs for managing the massage apparatus may be reduced.
Neck-hanging massaging device
A neck-hanging massaging device includes an elastic arm, a first handle, a second handle, an electrode assembly and an electric pulse generating device. The first handle and the second handle are fixedly connected to the two sides of the elastic arm. The electrode assembly is arranged on the elastic arm. The electric pulse generating device is electrically connected with the electrode assembly. The electric pulse generating device is arranged in the first handle.
Physiological Signal Assisted Acupuncture System and Automatic Electroacupuncture System
A system that assists acupuncture based on the physiological signals of the human body. Physiological signals comprise respiratory signals, electrocardiographic signals, electrical skin signals, electroencephalograph signal, blood flow signals, pulse wave signals and/or signals derived from above signals. The acupuncture treatment process comprises the following: controlling the actuator of the automatic acupuncture device through physiological signals to start, to stop acupuncture treatment or to perform acupuncture techniques such as twisting or lifting-thrusting. It also provides an automatic acupuncture system to assist acupuncture based on Chinese Medicine Body Clock information.
Electroacoustic Stimulation Device and Method
The device for electroacoustic stimulation and the method for using the same. The device is an electro-vibrational device operating in one of six acoustic frequency bands. It may be applied to muscles, tendons, and joints to achieve muscle relaxation and alleviation of pain. The device may also be used to induce psycho-physical effects, such as general relaxation of the body and psyche and inducing a state of spiritual calm, resembling results of meditation process. To maximize an effect, a vibratory stimulation is applied not only to the pain afflicted area, but also to symmetrical areas on the contralateral side of the body and similar zones according to the anterior-posterior symmetry. To enhance the electroacoustic stimulation effect, the vibrational signal is supplied either in a form of continuous wave, series of the same frequency trains, separated by pauses, or series of trains of different frequencies also separated by pauses.
DEVICE, BODY, METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR HEALTH-CARE
A health care device includes a health care body for positioning a body part of a user, so as to maintain a first specific positional relationship with the body part, wherein the body part has an acupoint; an acupoint work piece for performing a health care work onto the use through the acupoint; and a work piece holder having a first end connected to the health care body and a second end for fixing the acupoint work piece, so that under the first specific positional relationship, the acupoint work piece performs the health care work under the condition that the acupoint work piece has a second specific positional relationship with the acupoint. A health care body, method and system are also provided.
Spring-loaded device for eliciting deep tendon reflexes
A deep tendon reflex-eliciting device actuated by pressure against a patient's skin, which releases a spring-loaded mass that delivers an impulse through a fully-enclosed housing. This device includes a weight contained within the casings, and a mainspring in communication with the weight. The mainspring has a bias toward expansion. In the compressed position, the mainspring is also compressed, and the weight is pushed backwards into the rear casing. The weight is released to be driven forward by the mainspring. The weight strikes the inside of the forward casing, delivering an impulse to a surface against Which the device is pressed. A reset spring can push apart the forward and rear casings to reset the device to its expanded position. A case screw is also included which is able to consistently set the impact force of the device.
