There is provided a limb exercise device comprising: a force sensor configured to determine a weight applied to the device; a sliding component configured to facilitate the sliding movement of the device along a separate surface, wherein the separate surface is a surface that is separate to the device, wherein the sliding component comprises a part of an external housing of the device; a device movement sensor configured to determine a movement of the device on the separate surface; a limb position sensor configured to determine a position, in at least one dimension, of a limb of a user positioned above or adjacent to the device; and an output device configured to output an indication in dependence on a signal from at least one of: the force sensor, the device movement sensor and the limb position sensor.

An elliptical exercise machine may include a base, one or more upright stanchions coupled to the base and extending upward from the base and supporting first and second cranks. The first crank may support a first crank arm. The first crank arm may support a first pedal leg hanging downward from the first crank arm. The first pedal leg may support a right pedal. Various dynamic adjustments may occur concurrently, individually and/or sequentially. The trailer may be a moveable trailer for temporary attachment with a vehicle.

An apparatus for training athletes having two supporting structures. The first structure has a base that can rest on a surface and walls that extend upward from the base to an upper end, defining an interior space. The walls incorporate a bar connector above the base designed to connect to and support one end of a bar. The walls have supporting elements above the base and below the upper end of the walls. The second structure has walls that are configured so that the lower end of the walls can engage the supporting elements of the first structure so that the second structure is supported by the first structure above the supporting elements. The second structure has a bar connector at the same height as the height of the bar connector of the first structure configured to connect to and support the other end of the bar.

A fitness device contains a strap, a handle, and a plate. The strap is substantially inelastic and flexible. The plate is substantially rigid. The handle at least partially envelopes the strap.
