Automated game scoring and pin tracking system
An automated system is provided for scoring and tracking pin position and pin placement, gameplay, and playing time during games of FOWLING™. A modified pin with a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag affixed to or implanted in the pin provides tracking of individual pins during gameplay. A RFID reader is used to poll the set of pins on the platform to determine when a pin has left a set position. A processor controls the RFID tag reader and a clock so as to track pin position versus time. A pin position array is used in conjunction with conductive or magnetic disks on the bottom portion or surface of the pin for tracking pin position, pin placement, and gameplay. The conductive or magnetic disks complete circuit junctions in the array that confirm the presence of a standing pin and when a pin has been dislodged and presumably toppled over.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR BETTING ON A PIN BASED GAME
A method of betting on a pin based game includes the making of a first bet by placement of money or a substitute for money on a first position of a betting mat or by a digital mat on a graphical user interface, the first bet corresponding to a first player performance metric of a player in the pin based game. The player then throws at least one throw of a ball at a pin arrangement having at least one standing pin in attempt to knock down the at least one pin. The first bet plus a premium are returned based upon the first player performance metric being achieved. The premium is defined by premium odds that is based in part on the probability. A system for betting on a pin based game includes a pin associated with a sensor, a computer, a graphical user interface, and a betting mat.

STRING BOWLING PIN BUSHING
A string bowling pin as described herein incorporates one or more improvements that extend the time between maintenance and repair events that might otherwise be required at the place where the string leads from the top of the pin. A free-floating bushing improves the longevity of the string and pin connection. In another example, a radiused opening at the top of the pin improves the longevity of the string and pin connection. Also, both the improved bushing and radiused opening at the top of the pin, either alone or together, make the pin less likely to tangle with other strings and pins during use.

Process for encapsulating a bowling pin
A process for encapsulating a bowling pin includes placing a pin in a mold; injecting a molten plastic material into the mold to encapsulate the pin; and cooling the mold to produce a finished bowling pin wherein. The plastic material includes 80% to 60% of nylon and 20% to 40% of ion resin. Preferably, the ion resin is zinc ion resin.

SYSTEM FOR THE CREATION OF DECORATIVE OR PROMOTIONAL ITEMS FROM USED BOWLING PINS
Certain aspects are directed to an apparatus and method for creating and attaching a covering for a bowling pin. A cylindrical body comprising at least one single aperture located at a lower portion of the sleeve and a closed portion located at an upper portion of the sleeve, the cylindrical body comprising a contour of a selected genre of bowling pin, the cylindrical body comprising and an elastomeric material. Additionally, the single aperture may comprise an attachment ring portion, wherein the attachment ring portion comprises elastic deformative properties which allow the attachment ring portion to expand over portion of the larger diameter of the bowling pin and attach securely to a rim and a bottom surface of the bowling pin to be covered.
