SEAT FOR AMUSEMENT RIDES AND SYSTEM FOR THE BOARDING/DISEMBARKING OF PASSENGERS ON/FROM AT LEAST ONE SEAT
A seat (1) for amusement rides comprising a seat portion (2) and a backrest (3) to accommodate at least one passenger, and in particular a disabled passenger, is described, characterized by comprising at least one footboard (11) and/or at least one leg rest element (12) configured in use to provide support respectively for at least one foot and at least one leg of the passenger. Preferably the seat comprises restraining means (20) configured to secure the foot and/or leg of said passenger to said at least one footboard (11) and/or to at least one leg rest element (12).
FERRIS WHEEL INSTALLATION COMPRISING A GUIDE STRUCTURE FOR GONDOLAS HAVING SLIDING BALL JOINTS
A gondola of a Ferris wheel installation is connected to a wheel rim structure of the Ferris wheel by means of a guide structure comprising at least one bearing that is connected to the wheel rim structure by two sliding ball joints which have slide axes that are parallel to one another and spaced apart from one another.
Systems and methods for a smart virtual queue
A system includes a virtual queue controller configured to receive an indication of a reduced capacity event from an amusement park attraction, determine a reduction in capacity of the attraction, identify each guest having a return time in a virtual queue of the attraction that is affected by the reduced capacity event, remove guests having affected return times from the virtual queue, and generate a reaccommodation time slot for the guests removed from the virtual queue, select two or more updated return times within the reaccommodation time slot for each of the guests removed from the virtual queue, provide a notification to each guest removed from the virtual queue requesting guest input to select a single updated return time from the two or more updated return times, and return each guest to the virtual queue upon receiving a corresponding selection of the single updated return time.
Amusement apparatus, components, and, method
An amusement ride for locating on a ground leading to a ledge of a drop off has a pair of rocking boom, an axle, spokes and a passenger carrier. The pair of rocking booms are pivotally mounted near the ledge of the drop off. The axle is carried between the ends of rocking booms and when the rocking booms are tilted outboard of the ledge, the axle is suspended out over the empty space past the drop off. The spokes extending radially away from the axle to connections with the carrier. The axle is driven by a drive system to swing the carrier, from large arcs to full 360° revolutions.
Systems and methods for incorporating pneumatic robotic systems into structures
A system may include a virtual reality system configured to present one or more virtual objects via an electronic display. The system may also include one or more inflatable objects that correspond to the one or more virtual objects, such that the one or more inflatable objects matches one or more shapes of the one or more virtual objects. The system may also include a processor configured to cause at least one of the one or more inflatable objects to inflate based on feedback from the virtual reality system.

AMUSEMENT RIDE FOR CHILDREN
The amusement ride for children has an open frame and a swinging passenger carriage suspended from a crossbar carried by two trolleys mounted in parallel tracks on the roof of the open frame. The passenger carriage has an upper platform rotatably mounted on a base platform, rotation of the upper platform being controlled manually by the passenger through rotation of a wheel mounted on a column having an end journaled into a bearing mounted in the base platform. A reversible motor is mounted on the roof frame, the shaft of the motor being connected to the crossbar by a crank and connecting rod to control translational movement of the trolleys, causing the passenger carriage to swing forward and backward. The combination of translational movement and swinging movement of the carriage with rotational movement of the upper platform provides a uniquely thrilling sensation for a child seated on the passenger carriage.

PARK RIDE WITH DROP SWING PROPULSION
A park ride for use in theme parks, amusement parks, and other settings. The new ride includes a track defining a ride path for a passenger vehicle (or multiple vehicles that may be linked in a train). The vehicle is configured, such as with a bogie assembly with two to four or more wheels, to roll upon and engage the track. The ride includes a drop swing propulsion system that is adapted to drop a section of track upon which the passenger vehicle is supported from a first elevation to a second elevation that is lower than the first elevation. The dropping motion involves swinging the track with a linkage assembly, which with other components of the system may form a four-bar linkage, so as to impart a propelling force on the vehicle to move it along an exit track section provided at the second, lower elevation.
