An inner wall of the housing has a guide surface flowing water toward the water storage portion and is provided with a regulating portion regulating staying of water in a vicinity of a flow-in port of the discharge flow path.

A drain valve for a pressurised fluid chamber comprises a collection chamber for collecting pressurised fluid from the pressurised fluid chamber; a vent chamber for venting the pressurised fluid from the collection chamber; a master valve between the collection chamber and the vent chamber; and a slave valve between the pressurised fluid chamber and the collection chamber. The master valve is configured to open the slave valve when the master valve is closed, and to close the slave valve when the master valve is open. The master valve is configured to open the slave valve to allow pressurised fluid from the pressurised fluid chamber to enter the collection chamber, and configured to close the slave valve to allow pressurised fluid from the collection chamber to enter the vent chamber. The master valve and the slave valve cannot be shut at the same time.

Filter Leak Path Prevention Via Interference Pin

A replacement filter element having a removable pin attached to the filter element is described. The removable pin is attached to the filter element via a first interference fit. When the replacement filter element is installed into a filtration system having a drain valve with an internal draft, the removable pin seals onto the drain valve and forms a second interference fit between the drain valve and the pin. The pin seals an opening in the drain valve. The second interference fit is stronger than the first interference. Accordingly, when the replacement filter element is removed from the filter housing (e.g., during a service event of the replacement filter element), the pin detaches from the replacement filter element and remains positioned within the drain valve thereby preventing fluid from leaking from the housing when the filter element is removed. The pin permanently plugs the drain valve once installed.

Fuel Filter Comprising a Fuel Filter Insert with a Prefilter Element and a Main Filter Element

A fuel filter has a filter housing and a fuel filter insert exchangeably arranged in the filter housing and provided with a prefilter element and a main filter element. Prefilter element and main filter element are positioned one behind the other in the filter housing in axial direction of the filter housing. A fuel discharge channel is arranged in the filter housing below the fuel filter insert. In operating position of the fuel filter insert in the filter housing, the raw sides of prefilter element and of main filter element are sealed relative to the fuel discharge channel by seal-tight contact of the fuel filter insert on the filter housing. The raw side of the main filter element, when the fuel filter insert is moved by axial movement away from the operating position, is fluidically connected with the fuel discharge channel via the raw side of the prefilter element.

Fuel Filter Insert with a Prefilter and a Main Filter Element, and Fuel Filter

A fuel filter insert for a fuel filter has a low-pressure region with prefilter element arranged therein. A high-pressure region arranged fluidically downstream of the low-pressure region has a main filter element arranged therein. Prefilter element and main filter element are arranged one atop the other axially in the fuel filter insert. A wall element projects away from the main filter element in axial direction and extends at least partially through the prefilter element. Low-pressure region and high-pressure region at least over sections thereof are separated from each other by the wall element. A fuel filter is provided with a filter housing in which the fuel filter insert is arranged. The filter housing has a fuel outlet and a fuel inlet for fuel prefiltered by the prefilter element. Fuel inlet and fuel outlet are fluidically positioned between low-pressure region and high-pressure region and a fuel pump is connectable thereto.

A blocking device is below the separator to prevent the return of water to the separator. The blocking device has a blocking surface extending longitudinally forming an angle that inclines at least a portion of the blocking surface to allow water separated from the fuel to flow towards the outlet wall from which the blocking surface extends.
