Also, the carbon particles have a surface area that is in a range of about 900 m.sup.2/g to about 2,500 m.sup.2/g, an average pore width in a range of about 1 nm to about 4 nm, a microporous surface area in a range of about 300 m.sup.2/g to about 1,350 m.sup.2/g, and a cumulative surface area of pores with a hydraulic radius in a range of 0.285 nm to 1.30 nm that is in a range of about 1,000 m.sup.2/g to about 3,000 m.sup.2/g.

A syringe assembly for a hydraulic fracturing system includes a syringe having a material chamber, a base fluid chamber, and a piston. The material chamber is configured to be fluidly connected to a fluid conduit. The piston retracts to draw material into the material chamber. The piston extends to push the material into the fluid conduit. The syringe assembly includes a diverter fluidly connected to the base fluid chamber and moveable between first and second positions. The first position of the diverter fluidly connects the base fluid chamber to a base fluid reservoir of the hydraulic fracturing system and fluidly disconnects the base fluid chamber from an outlet of a frac pump of the hydraulic fracturing system. The second position of the diverter fluidly connects the base fluid chamber to the outlet of the frac pump and fluidly disconnects the base fluid chamber from the base fluid reservoir.

The trigger includes a first segment that is generally parallel with the first segment of the handle and a second segment that is generally parallel with the second segment of the handle. Engagement by a user of either the first segment of the trigger or the second segment of the trigger causes the drive motor to rotate the shaft and blades.

Each of the leading and trailing edges defines a helix or spiral between the axial ends of the impeller blade. In certain arrangements, the impeller blade is one of at least two impeller blades joined together along an impeller shaft extending axially along the impeller blade axis mentioned, and the helix or spiral has a pitch approximately equal to one half of a length between the first and second axial ends.

The present set of embodiments relate to a system, method, and apparatus for culturing cells within a cell culture vessel having a mixing element. The cell culture system includes a flexible portion and a mixing element disposed therein. The mixing element includes a suspended foldable portion. The system is configured to reduce shear stress on cells without compromising mixing efficiency. This reduction is accomplished by using a mixing element having a large surface area allowing for reduced rotational speeds. The system is collapsible for ease of transport and disposal. The flexible portion collapses and the foldable portion folds to minimize the volume of the system while not in operation.
