In-line flavoring granular and powder conveyor system
A granular coating conveyor system for coating granular particles carried in compartments along a tubular conveyor member. Coating fluid is fed over the granular particles through radial nozzles located inside a co-axial rotating blender with tubular member upstream discharge port and tubular member downstream return ingress port for the granular particles. The blender is a drum having a helicoidal spiral screw integrally mounted to an interior peripheral wall face of the drum and extending therealong radially outwardly of the tubular member mixing in the drum in tumbling fashion the granular particles with coating fluid and guiding same therealong, so as to dynamically form a kidney shape mass of granular particles.
Particle Coating Method
A method of producing a particle coating on one or more items is provided. The method comprises mixing a supercritical fluid with a solution comprising dissolved material for forming particles. The method further comprises spraying the mixture into a precipitation chamber (316) to precipitate particles, wherein the chamber is at a pressure below a supercritical pressure of the supercritical fluid. The method comprises conveying items to be coated from an inlet of the chamber to an outlet of the chamber. The method also comprises capturing the precipitated particles on items within the chamber.

Disclosed herein is a method and an apparatus for producing a shaped article. The method comprises obtaining a freshly produced aluminosilicate-containing particulate waste material and, before the waste material cools to ambient temperature, mixing the waste material into a mixture, wherein the mixture comprises the aluminosilicate, a metal oxide, an alkali, a water soluble silicate and water; shaping the mixture; and curing the shaped mixture, whereby the shaped article is produced.

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing thermoplastic polymer particles, and the thermoplastic polymer particles, the method comprising the steps of: (1) extruding a thermoplastic polymer resin through an extruder; (2) spraying the extruded thermoplastic polymer resin through a nozzle and then spraying a gas to the sprayed thermoplastic polymer resin through a plurality of sprayers so as to granulate same; and (3) cooling the granulated thermoplastic polymer resin.
DEMETALLIZED SLAG FOR ABRASIVES AND/OR ROOFING GRANULES AND RELATED METHODS
Some methods for making a granular material comprise crushing demetallized slag particles with one or more crushers and screening the crushed demetallized slag particles with one or more screens to separate the demetallized slag particles into two or more fractions, the granular material comprising at least one of the fractions of the demetallized slag particles. Prior to the crushing, ones of the demetallized slag particles having a size that is less than or equal to 2 inches can account for at least 90% of the demetallized slag particles. An iron-compound content of the demetallized slag particles, by weight, can be less than or equal to 10%. Crushing and screening can be performed such that ones of the demetallized slag particles of the granular material having a size that is less than or equal to 1.25 mm account for at least 90% of the demetallized slag particles of the granular material.
