Organics recovery from dry fraction
Solid waste, for example source separated organics (SSO) or commercial and industrial (C&I) waste or both, are treated by first pressurizing the waste against a screen to produce a solids fraction and a liquid fraction. The liquid fraction can be treated in an anaerobic digester. The solids fraction is pulverized or milled, for example with a hammer mill, preferably after being diluted. The pulverized or milled waste is separated again to provide a second solids faction and a second liquid fraction. The liquid fraction can be treated in an anaerobic digester. The solids fraction is primarily inert and can be landfilled, preferably after being washed.

Combination table, sifter and collection tray
A combination table, sifter, and collection tray for herbs is described herein. The device is generally a food and plant processing device, and more particularly is a combination table, sifter, and collection tray. The table, sifter, and tray are nested into one another to form a unitary device for easy transport.
METHOD FOR CLEANING BLINDING PARTICLES IN CRUSHERS
In a method for cleaning blinding particles in crushers, material to be crushed is fed via a feed stream (1) to a crushing tool, and from there is separated by a screen (7) into a conveyor stream (8) that passes through the screen (7) and a return stream (10) that is held back by the screen (7) and returned to the feed stream (1), thereby forming a conveyance circuit (9). The method makes an efficient, continuous crusher operation possible, wherein idle times for cleaning blinding particles can be avoided. The particle size distribution and/or the material volume are measured at specified intervals in parts of the conveyance circuit (9) and/or conveyor stream (8), and if the particle size distribution and/or material volume deviate above a predefined limit value, the particle size created by the crushing tool is increased for a predefined time period.
Impact screen for an impact crusher, impact crusher provided with said impact screen, and crushing facility
The impact shield (9, 10) carries a plurality of armor bodies (16) of a strongly wear resisting material. The armor bodies (16) are fixed horizontally in succession on a front side of the impact shield by a fixing element making it possible to detach them from the impact shield (9, 10) for their replacement. The impact shield (9, 10) is composed of a fixed part (21) connected to the frame (2), and a removable part (22) carrying the armor bodies (16) and making it possible to remove simultaneously all the armor bodies, fixed on the same, out of the grinding chamber (3). At least one such impact shield (9, 10) is arranged in a grinding chamber (3) of an impact grinding mill including a frame (2) further including a horizontal-axis rotor (6) provided with impactors (7) arranged regularly around its periphery.

Bale processor and flail for use with same
In one embodiment, a bale processor includes a hopper for receiving baled material, a discharge opening for outputting chopped material, and primary and secondary rotors. The primary rotor has an axis of rotation and a rotatable flail to chop the material from the bale received in the hopper. The secondary rotor is rotatable to chop the material after being chopped by the primary rotor, and the secondary rotor is offset from the primary rotor such that the primary rotor is between the secondary rotor and the discharge opening. The flail includes a pivot tube for rotating about the axis, first and second hammers secured to the pivot tube, and a paddle. The paddle is positioned between and secured to the first and second hammers to generate airflow when the first and second hammers are rotated at an operating speed, thereby increasing a throw distance of the chopped material.
Detachable thumb assembly and backhoe digging apparatus comprising the same
A detachable thumb assembly for a construction equipment machine includes a mounting bracket for attaching the thumb assembly to a digging apparatus of the machine, a thumb pivotally connected on the mounting bracket, a thumb cylinder including a cylinder body connected to the mounting bracket and a cylinder rod which extends from a front end of the cylinder body and which is connected to the thumb. The body of the thumb cylinder is pivotally connected to the mounting bracket at a connection portion of the body which is distinct from a body back end portion.

Animal bedding
Animal bedding is disclosed. The animal bedding comprises a juniper tree cut at ground level, the juniper tree having needles and a trunk. The juniper tree is naturally dried until the needles are brown, then ground using a screen that is 3 inches or less. The ground juniper tree is hammer milled and dust of 20 mesh minus is extracted from the hammer milled tree, which is then placed in a bagging machine and dust is vacuumed from the juniper tree. The juniper tree is then bagged.
