Support-ring and grinding-ring with a radiused interface
A base and ring assembly for a grinding mill includes a base structure with a support plate, an annular support-ring fixedly secured to and positioned above the support plate. The support-ring has a radially inward facing convex surface that extends from a support-ring lower axial end to a support-ring upper axial end. The assembly includes an annular grinding-ring that has a radially outward facing concave surface which extends from a grinding-ring lower axial end to a grinding-ring upper axial end. The grinding ring has a radially inward facing grinding surface. The radially outward facing concave surface is complementary in shape to and engages the radially inward facing convex surface.
Grinder, method for operation
A grinder includes a grinding table rotatable about a first rotational axis and at least two grinding rollers. Each of the at least two grinding rollers is arranged for rotation about a second rotational axis such that ground material can be comminuted between the grinding table and the grinding rollers during operation. A sensor arrangement can detect a change in inclination of the grinding table beyond a given threshold value.

Separator and mill with a separator
A separator having a separator housing, a separator wheel arranged inside the separator housing and having an axis of rotation (X), and a guide vane assembly arranged in the separator housing, an annular space being provided between the guide vane assembly and the separator housing radially (R) perpendicular to the axis of rotation (X) and a separation zone being provided between the guide vane assembly and the separator wheel, and the guide vane assembly having a plurality of vertical guide vanes. In order to increase separation performance, at least one deflecting element is arranged between at least two adjacent vertical guide vanes and has at least one downward-pointing curved and/or bent portion.
WEAR-RESISTANT ELEMENT FOR A COMMINUTION DEVICE
A wear-resistant element is configured to be mounted on a comminuting device or a silo. The wear-resistant element may be formed from a ceramic that comprises yttrium-stabilized, tetragonal polycrystalline zirconia (TPZ). The TPZ makes up a proportion of the ceramic of at least 60% by volume, in some cases at least 80%, or even 95% to 100%. The ceramic may have a porosity of less than 5%. The ceramic may have a ratio of monoclinic to tetragonal zirconia of 10% to 40%. An yttrium-stabilized zirconia of the ceramic may have a grain size D50 of less than 1.5 μm. The ceramic may have an yttrium content of 2 to 4 mol % Y2O3.
Roller Mill Having Grinding Rollers Set At An Angle
A roller mill, having a grinding table and grinding rollers, wherein the grinding table is rotatable relative to the grinding rollers about a center axis of the grinding table in a grinding table rotation direction, such that the grinding rollers roll on a grinding track of the grinding table about a roller rotation axis. At least one of the grinding rollers is rotated to be set at a set angle in the direction of the grinding table rotation direction, such that the roller rotation axis extends at a radial distance from the center axis of the grinding table. The set angle is between 1 degree and 9 degrees. A method for operating a roller mill, and the use of a roller mill for comminuting particulate bulk material are also disclosed.
