Centrifuge including rotatable bowl and conical separation discs arranged in the bowl
A disc-type centrifuge is configured to use clean water as sealing water to be supplied at high pressure to a sealing mechanism unit. A pump is disposed on a circulation pathway connecting a sealing water tank, in which the sealing water is stored, and the sealing mechanism unit. The sealing water (clean water) is circulated between the sealing water tank and the sealing mechanism unit by the pump. The pump is connected to the drive shaft of a motor that supplies a driving force to a rotating shaft and bowl and is configured so that the pump is operated by receiving the driving force of the motor.

Spinning Top Centrifuge
This invention concerns a centrifugal device that houses adapters for commercial or scientific samples (or tubes containing such samples) and is manually operated. In preferred embodiments, the adapter is housed in a modern version of a spinning top that is powered by repetitive pumping motion using a helical rod and clutch mechanism.
Modular centrifuge devices and methods
A modular centrifuge device for separating fluid samples, including a housing having a modular power assembly mechanism for rotating samples with manual or electric power. A manual centrifuge device, including a housing having a power assembly mechanism for rotating samples with manual power, and a speed indicator for indicating if a predetermined speed has been reached and a time indicator for indicating if a predetermined or calculated time has been reached for rotating said samples operatively connected to the device. A method of centrifuging samples, by selecting a manual power mode or electric power mode on a centrifuge, rotating samples at a predetermined speed for a predetermined or calculated time, alerting a user that the predetermined speed and predetermined or calculated time have been achieved, and obtaining separated samples.

COMBINATION CENTRIFUGE AND MAGNETIC STIRRER
A device for use in a laboratory and operable as both a centrifuge and a magnetic stirrer includes a housing defining a cavity therein, a motor coupled to the housing, and a spindle driven by the motor and rotatable about a first axis. The device also includes a first rotor removably couplable to the spindle and configured to support at least one tube therein, and a second rotor removably couplable to the spindle and including at least one magnet. The device also includes a controller in communication with the motor and operable in a first mode of operation when the first rotor is coupled to the spindle and operable in a second mode of operation when the second rotor is coupled to the spindle.
VERTICAL CUTTINGS DRYER
A vertical cuttings dryer (“VCD”) can be used to separate solid particulate from entrained liquid. In some examples, the VCD includes a screen mounted coaxially with an internal wiper housing that carriers a wiper sweeping out an annular space between the screen and wiper housing. The VCD may have a first motor connected through drive shaft to the screen and a second motor connect through a separate drive shaft to the wiper housing. A controller can independently control the speed of the first motor and the second motor to independently a magnitude of centrifugal force applied to material being processed as well as a residence time of the material being processed in the annular space.
Centrifuge drive head for releasably connecting a driving system to a rotor of a centrifuge, a set and a centrifuge comprising the drive head
A centrifuge drive head for releasably connecting a driving system to a rotor of a centrifuge. The centrifuge drive head comprises a base body mounted for rotation about an axis of rotation (R) and at least a first and a second coupling element, mounted on the base body for swinging outwardly about a swivel axis. The first and second coupling elements differ from each other in at least one of outer shape, mass, material and/or mounting height on the base body.
