HIGHLY STRETCHABLE SUPERHYDROPHOBIC THIN FILM USING INITIATED CHEMICAL VAPOR DEPOSITION AND METHOD OF PREPARING SAME
20220363941 · 2022-11-17 ·

A highly stretchable superhydrophobic thin film using initiated chemical vapor deposition is prepared by a method in which a substrate is coated with a copolymer at a nanometer thickness by allowing a fluorine monomer containing 4 to 6 fluoroalkyl groups and having a glass transition temperature of 5° C. or less to react with a crosslinking monomer on the substrate in the presence of an initiator in an initiated chemical vapor deposition reactor and thus its durability can be secured in foldable and wearable devices.

TAPERED MULTI-LAMINATED TUBULAR SLINGSHOT BAND
20220349671 · 2022-11-03 ·

An improved slingshot band having a tapered outer contour. The slingshot band has a tubular body having a first fork end and a second pouch end. The tubular body comprises a first layer of an elastic polymer. The first layer has a constant thickness. The tubular body further comprises a second layer of an elastic polymer. The second layer has a greater thickness near the fork end of the tubular body and lower thickness near the pouch end of the tubular body. The increased thickness of the section of the tubular body near the fork end of the slingshot band reinforces the most vulnerable section of the slingshot band against failure, thereby extending its longevity.

Manufacturing process of silicone glove

The present disclosure relates to a manufacturing process of a silicone glove, the silicon glove is divided into a liner, a glove blank and a silicon layer from the inside to the outside, and liquid silicon is sprayed on a surface of the glove blank for once; when spraying the liquid silicon, the glove blank also rotates around its axis while horizontally moving on an assembly line; during spraying, a liquid silicon outflow channel at least includes a finger gap spraying port and a tiger mouth spraying port that are arranged fixedly; an arranging length of the finger gap spraying port is greater than or equal to a length of a finger area of the glove blank; an arranging length of the tiger mouth spraying port is greater than or equal to a length of a tiger mouth area of the glove blank.

MULTI-PURPOSE ACID-ETCHED METALLIC STAMPS AND DIES
20230118327 · 2023-04-20 ·

A metallic stamp and die for the craft industry comprises a predetermined acid-etched design on a surface of a metallic plate. A first layer of a metallic paint is applied over the front and back surfaces of the metallic stamp and die. A second layer of a rubber paint is applied over the metallic paint. The metallic paint facilitates bonding of the rubber paint to the metallic plate and increases the life of the coating of the rubber paint. The rubber paint is configured to absorb and store an ink and facilitate transfer of the ink to one or more substrates, thus enabling stamping of the design on the substrate. The metallic die can be configured for a plurality of uses, such as embossing, cutting, heat-foiling, stamping, scoring, and inserting patterns or designs in a plurality of substrates.

METHOD OF PRODUCING FLUOROSILICONE RUBBER LAMINATE, AND FLUOROSILICONE RUBBER LAMINATE
20220325137 · 2022-10-13 ·

Provided is a method of producing a fluorosilicone rubber laminate. The method comprises: (1) applying a primer composition onto a substrate, and forming a primer layer on a surface of the substrate; and (2) bringing a fluorosilicone rubber composition into contact with the primer layer, and adhering a fluorosilicone rubber to the primer layer. The fluorosilicone rubber composition comprises a platinum-based catalyst and/or a fluorosiloxane containing a silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atom. The primer composition comprises a platinum-based catalyst or a fluorosiloxane containing a silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atom, however the primer composition does not simultaneously comprise a platinum-based catalyst and a fluorosiloxane containing a silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atom. Either the primer composition or the fluorosilicone rubber composition comprises a platinum-based catalyst or a fluorosiloxane containing a silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atom. A laminate in which a fluorosilicone rubber layer and a base material are favorably adhered to each other can be obtained.
