CHUTE APPARATUS FOR SORTING SMALL OBJECTS, SUCH AS FRUIT
A chute apparatus is comprised of a guide member, an arched member, and a floor member. The guide member guides an object entering the chute apparatus. The arched member receives the object from the guide member and redirects the object toward an exit port of the chute apparatus. The floor member receives the object from the arched member and directs the object toward the exit port of the chute apparatus. It is contemplated that the object may comprise a fruit, such as a berry or the like.
DEVICE FOR SORTING POWDER PARTICLES
The present invention relates to a device (1) for sorting powder particles into ranges of particles according to one or more of a density, size and/or shape of the particles, wherein the device (1) comprises a particle sorting chamber (2) with at least one sloping side wall (3), which side wall (3) slopes from a lower part (4) of the sorting chamber (2) towards an upper part (5) thereof, wherein the lower part (4) of the sorting chamber (2) is larger dimensioned than the upper part (5), wherein at the upper part (5) of the particle sorting chamber (2) an inlet (6) is provided for supplying a flow of the powder particles to be sorted to the sorting chamber (2), wherein a particle outlet (7) is provided in the upper part (5) of the sorting chamber (2) for conducting sorted particles from the sorting chamber (2) through a duct (8) to at least one particle sedimentation classifier (9), wherein in the lower part (4) of the sorting chamber (2) means (11) are provided for generating an upward rotating gas flow in the sorting chamber (2), the rotating gas flow having a rotation axis which corresponds to an upward axis (10) of the sorting chamber (2).
Beneficiation of values from ores with a heap leach process
This invention relates to a process for recovering value metals from sulphide ore, including steps of crushing ore in a primary crusher (14) to a size of about 40 cm and less, passing the crushed ore through one or more of the following pre-beneficiation processes such as bulk sorting (16) and screening (20) followed by coarse floatation (46/50), or gravity separation or magnetic separation. A waste stream (54) from the pre-beneficiation process/es with a particle size greater than 100 μm is stacked in a heap (26) and subjected to a heap leach. This integrated process utilises the pre-beneficiation techniques best suited to the characteristics of a particular orebody; and during the pre-beneficiation simultaneously creating a low grade stream that yields significantly higher recoveries than achievable by normal heap leaching of low grade run of mine ore.

AGRICULTURAL MATERIAL SORTING APPARATUS
A sorting apparatus is provided for sorting agricultural product by size and shape using a trommel. Agricultural product is received in a hopper and exits the hopper via an aperture onto a platform. A ram cyclically moves across the platform to transfer product from the hopper into the trommel.
Cannabis particulate separator
A cannabis particulate separator and a method for separating cannabis by size using such a cannabis particulate separator. The cannabis particulate separator includes a body, supporting projections, apertures, and flaps. The body has a top surface and a bottom surface. The apertures extend through the body between the top and bottom surfaces. The flaps are integrally disposed on the bottom surface. Each flap is connected to the bottom surface adjacent to one of the apertures. The flaps extend away from the bottom surface at an angle. The supporting projections extend away from the body and are configured to bend inward toward the bottom surface.
Method and apparatus for washing and grading silica sand for glass production
A method of washing and grading silica sand for glass production includes removing trash and relatively large contaminants from a sand feed material via a sequence of multiple vibrating screens, collection sumps, hydrocyclones, a density separator, a classification tank, and a dewatering screen. The resulting silica sand product is suitable for glass production.

Apparatus and Method for Processing Plant Materials
The present disclosure relates to the processing of hops. More specifically, an apparatus and method for extracting lupulin from hops are disclosed. Hops are brought into contact with a cooling agent, such as dry ice, to freeze or cool the hops. This cooling is facilitated by mixing the hops and the dry ice together inside of a tumbler. The tumbler continuously rotates to mix the dry ice and hops. Further mixing is afforded by an internal agitator that sweeps the interior of the tumbler. The agitator also pulverizes the hops and separates the hops from the particulate lupulin material. The tumbler is formed from a mesh material that allows the extracted lupulin to leave the tumbler and be collected.
