Machine tool for cylindrical workpieces
A complex machine tool for cylindrical workpieces has a bed, a headstock assembly, at least one supporting assembly, and at least one machining assembly. The bed has three tracks being respectively a first track, a second track, a third track arranged in order. Each one of the three tracks defines a respective guiding direction, and the three guiding directions of the three tracks are mutually parallel. The headstock assembly is connected to the bed, and is located near one of two ends of the second track. The at least one supporting assembly is mounted on one of the three tracks and is used for supporting the cylindrical workpiece. The at least one machining assembly is mounted on one of the three tracks, is slidable along the track, and is located on a position at a spaced interval from the at least one supporting assembly.
Glass roof shingle
A glass roof shingle includes a shingle cover layer made of a glass. A shingle base layer is disposed underneath the shingle cover layer. The shingle base layer and shingle cover layer define a cavity. A seal area formed between the shingle base layer and shingle cover layer and around the cavity controls ingress of moisture into the cavity. A photovoltaic module may be disposed within the cavity.
Interlayer film for laminated glass, and laminated glass
There is provided an interlayer film for laminated glass with which the production efficiency of laminated glass can be heightened. The interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention is an interlayer film for laminated glass having a one-layer structure or a two or more-layer structure and includes a first layer containing a thermoplastic resin, the softening point of the first layer is 60 C. or more, the interlayer film has an MD direction and a TD direction, and with regard to thermal shrinkage ratios obtained when the first inside portion, the second inside portion and the central portion are heated for 20 minutes at 140 C. respectively, all of the thermal shrinkage ratio MD1MAX, the thermal shrinkage ratio MD2MAX and the thermal shrinkage ratio MD3MAX are 45% or less.
Automotive laminate camera heating system with low distortion
The use of camera-based safety systems is growing at a rapid rate in automobiles where they are used to provide lane departure warning, collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control and other functions. As the industry moves towards full autonomous capability, the number of cameras and the resolution are increasing. For proper operation, the cameras require a clear undistorted field of view. Keeping the camera area free of snow and ice has been a problem. A resistive heating circuit is typically used to keep the area clear. For rapid clearing the circuit needs to operate at a high-power level. Due to the temperature dependent index of refraction of the plastic interlayer, severe distortion can result from the non-isothermal heating resulting from the spacing of the circuit elements. The laminate of the invention reduces distortion by removing the interlayer in the camera field of view and replacing with a plastic having a more temperature stable index of refraction.
Displacement and position measurement in machine tool
A machine tool includes a displacement measuring unit to measure the displacement of a workpiece center-to-blade tip distance which is the distance between a center equivalent position of a workpiece support surface of a workpiece support unit and a blade tip equivalent position of a tool support unit in a direction perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to a spindle axis. The displacement measuring unit measures the displacement by measuring the displacement of a continuous path between the center equivalent position of the workpiece support unit and the blade tip equivalent position and excluding a processing movement region. The displacement measuring unit includes workpiece side and tool side linear position detecting units. A measured value of the displacement measuring unit is used in correcting an X-axis command value.
Machine tool system
A machine tool system includes a machine tool including a processor to process a workpiece with a tool, and a bed on which the processor is mounted, a transport apparatus including two, left and right, legs spaced apart from the bed to transport the workpiece and feed the workpiece to the processor or discharge the workpiece from the processor, and a plate that connects the bed to the legs and is elastically deformable. The plate is upright such that a plate surface is aligned with a front-rear direction, and a connection portion of the plate that connects with the bed and a connection portion of the plate that connects with the legs are displaced in a front-back direction.
