Debris Collecting System
20230020826 · 2023-01-19 ·

A debris collection system for use in cutting or drilling holes in a ceiling with a hole saw. The debris collection system allows a user to avoid or limit exposure to dust and debris created by cutting or drilling overhead holes in drywall or wood. A clear rigid debris shield is temporarily attachable to the ceiling so that the user does not have to hold it in place while operating the hole saw. The hole saw is operably contained within a debris collection chamber defined within the debris shield when in use. A vacuum hose connects to a vacuum port in a cylindrical sidewall of the debris shield at one end and is attachable to a portable vacuum at an opposite end to create suction and remove debris from the debris collection chamber. A hose hanger is attachable to the ceiling between the debris shield and the portable vacuum to support the vacuum hose and keep it out of the way.

POWER TOOL INCLUDING AN AIR FILTER AND DEBRIS COLLECTOR

A power tool having a power tool housing, a motor, a tool moved relative to the housing by the motor, a fan rotated by the motor such that a fluid flow with debris generated by tool is moved into the fluid inlet by the fan and through the discharge outlet, and a filter that is removably attached to the power tool housing. The power tool housing includes a fluid inlet and a discharge outlet. The filter includes a filter media for separating the debris from the flow of fluid. The filter media defines a collection container for storing the debris. The filter also includes an opening through which the flow of fluid with the debris enters the collection container, and a valve that is moveable between a closed position, in which the opening is closed, and an open position, in which the opening is open. The valve includes a duckbill check valve.

DUST COLLECTING DEVICE FOR A POWER TOOL
20230210324 · 2023-07-06 ·

A dust collecting device for a power tool, the dust collecting device having a lamella filter, a rotatable shaft and a lamella holder. In the collecting container of the dust collecting device, the lamellae of the filter can be set in an axial movement by a rotary movement of the shaft which is mediated by the lamella holder, which is interrupted when a first profile of the shaft and a second profile of the lamella holder are moved with respect to each other and are not in engagement with each other. This enables the lamellae to return to their original position, the return of the lamellae to this original position causing the lamellae to vibrate, which leads to the filter being cleaned. A power tool which can have a proposed dust collecting device, as well as a method for operating a power tool and for cleaning a filter is also provided.

MACHINE TOOL

A combined electric tool coordination system includes a main tool (4) and an auxiliary tool (1). The main tool (4) and the auxiliary tool (1) coordinate for working. A load detection module (E1) is used to detect a load parameter that is generated when the main tool (4) operates, and send the load parameter to a central control module (E2). The central control module (E2) adjusts output power of the auxiliary tool (1). The central control module (E2) controls power of the auxiliary tool (1) to increase as the load parameter of the main tool (4) increases and decrease as the load parameter decreases. An automatic adjustment function of the auxiliary tool (1) is applied to a dust collector (1). When power of the main tool (4) increases, more dust and scraps are generated, suction of the dust collector (1) is automatically adjusted to be higher, and the demand of a large quantity of dust is satisfied; and when the power of the main tool (4) decreases, less dust and scraps are generated, power of the dust collector (1) automatically decreases, the suction is reduced, and the demand of a small quantity of dust is satisfied.
