Balancing Weight System for Hand-Held Surface Angle Grinders
This invention is a device and method for weighting and balancing ar hand-held electric angle grinder. A weight shaft is mounted on the frame of the angle grinder coaxially with the axis of rotation of the angle grinder motor. A selection of weights can be mounted on the weight shaft to provide extra downward pressure, through the motor and frame, to the grinding disc of the angle grinder. The weights are also selected to suppress vibration that is produced by the interaction between the grinding disc and the surface. As a result, the present invention provides an angle grinder that is easier and less exhaustingI to use, is less likely to have any harmful effects on the user, is able to provide a more effective functioning of the angle grinder, and is able to provide a treated work surface of better quality and less expense.

A surface processing device, in particular a manual grinding device, includes a processing body which has at least one processing surface for grinding or polishing a workpiece surface, wherein inlet openings are arranged on the at least one processing surface for suctioning off dust-laden dust air and these inlet openings are flow-connected via a duct arrangement to a suction connection to which a suction device can be connected. The surface processing device is provided with an adjustment means for adjustment of effective flow cross-sections, with which inlet openings of a first processing surface section of the at least one processing surface and inlet openings of at least one second processing surface section of the at least one processing surface are flow-connected to the suction connection, so that a suction effect on the first processing surface section and the at least one second processing surface section can be set and/or switched off.

Hand-held power tool comprising a filter support
A hand-held power tool includes a housing, a filter support, a plurality of securing element, and an actuating unit. The filter support has receiving openings, at least one first fixing element, and at least one second fixing element. The receiving openings are configured to receive filter elements configured to seal the hand-held power tool against a penetration of dust into the housing of the hand-held power tool. First and second fixing elements are fixable to corresponding securing elements arranged on the hand-held power tool, and are configured to releasably fix the filter support to the housing. The actuation unit is actuatable to release the filter support from the hand-held power tool.

The invention refers to a battery pack (30) comprising a battery pack housing (32) and a battery cell (34) accommodated inside the battery housing (32) and a plurality of battery pack contacts (36) accessible from outside the battery housing (32) and electrically connected to the battery cell (34). The battery pack (30) is adapted to be electrically connected with its battery pack contacts (36) to respective electric appliance contacts (38) of an electronic appliance (2; 100) and to provide electric energy to the electronic appliance (2; 100) after connection thereto. It is suggested that the battery pack (30) comprises a card slot (40) in the battery pack housing (32) with a plurality of electric slot contacts (42) in electric contact with the battery pack contacts (36), and that the battery pack (30) comprises an electronics card (44) for releasable insertion into the card slot (40), the electronics card (44) comprising a wireless communication device (46).
