Abrasive article
An abrasive article, in particular a coated abrasive disc, includes a plurality of holes which are arranged in a hole pattern. The density of holes decreases from an inner region of the hole pattern to an outer region of the hole pattern. At least one hole in the hole pattern is designed as an elongated hole.
ABRASIVE ROTARY TOOL WITH EXPANDABLE COLLET
The disclosure is generally directed to abrasive rotary tools capable of expanding into a substrate. Exemplary abrasive rotary tools include an expandable collet configured to expand an abrasive surface of the abrasive rotary tool. The expandable collet may be positioned proximate to a multi-planar edge of a substrate, such as a hole, and expanded into the edge to more fully and/or evenly contact the edge of the substrate. In this way, an abrasive rotary tool may more quickly and/or consistently abrade the edge.
CLEANING MEMBER, PAPER TRANSMITTING DEVICE AND OFFICE MACHINE USING THE SAME
A paper transmitting device including a feed wheel and a cleaning member is provided. The feed wheel is rotatably disposed for driving a document to move. The cleaning member is disposed on one side of the feed wheel, and has a fabric and porous structure and a woolen friction surface, so that the cleaning member contacts the feed wheel to clean the feed wheel.

POLISHING DISC FOR A TOOL FOR FINE PROCESSING OF OPTICALLY EFFECTIVE SURFACES ON SPECTACLE LENSES
The invention relates to a polishing disc for a tool for fine processing optically active surfaces on spectacle lenses, having a main body which has a central axis and to which an intermediate layer that is softer than the main body and is made of a resilient material is secured, a polishing medium carrier resting on the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer has at least two regions with different degrees of hardness, said regions being arranged one behind the other in the direction of the central axis of the main body. The intermediate layer region adjoining the main part is softer than the intermediate layer region on which the polishing medium carrier rests.
Tool for Surface Finish Machining
A tool (1) for surface finish machining, having a cushion (6) made of an elastic plastics foam, on the underside of which there is formed a working medium face (2) having working media or adhesives (8, 11, 12, 13) for the releasable attachment of working medium discs and on the top side of which there is formed a drive receptacle (4, 5) for application of work, is created as a product that is producible easily and non-critically in high volume, is extremely robust in use, is moisture-resistant and is able to withstand high rotational speeds, in that the elastic plastics foam consists of closed-cell expanded and fused-together particles of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).
INDIRECT FORCE CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS USED IN ROBOTIC PAINT REPAIR
A system for robotic paint repair that can include a consumable abrasive product configured to abrade a substrate, a tool configured to drive the consumable abrasive product to abrade, a backup pad configured to couple with the consumable abrasive product, a robotic device configured to manipulate the tool, a pressure regulating apparatus mountable to the robotic device and configured to apply a desired pressure to the consumable abrasive product, a sensor configured to measure at least one of a rotational velocity of the backup pad or a debris pattern from the substrate that results from abrading, and a pressure controller configured to control the pressure regulating apparatus to apply the desired pressure based upon the at least one of the measured rotational velocity of the backup pad or the measured debris pattern.
ADJUSTMENT STRUCTURE OF UPWARD-OPENING ABRASIVE CLOTH ROLLERS
An upward-opening abrasive cloth roller has a roller below the abrasive cloth. The system has: a support frame mounted on a machine, a roller is disposed on the support frame, a hollow panel is mounted on the machine, and the first side of the panel is pivotally connected to the machine. The two ends of the support frame are respectively provided with individual height adjustment structures, and a panel level adjustment structure is mounted on the machine on below the second side of the panel. With the above two adjustment structures to adjust the level of the roller and the panel, the plate can be easily adjusted for different grinding depths and angles.
MULTIPLE DEGREE OF FREEDOM COMPLIANT ACTUATOR FORCE CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS USED IN ROBOTIC PAINT REPAIR
A robotic device that can include an end effector configured to manipulate one or more tools that drives one or more consumable abrasive products to abrade a substrate along several different surface dimensions, wherein the end effector comprises: three linear actuators each configured to move orthogonal relative to one another and at least one tool mount coupled to one of the three linear actuators and coupled to the tool.
POLISHING MECHANISM, POLISHING DEVICE, AND POLISHING METHOD
A mechanism for polishing includes a polishing member, an eccentric member coupled to the polishing member, and a driving member coupled to the eccentric member. The driving member drives the eccentric member to rotate to move the polishing member to reciprocate in the one-dimensional direction, so that when a relative position between the polishing mechanism and the workpiece is fixed, the polishing member polishes a workpiece by translating a polishing surface. A method for the polishing process, applied by a polishing device, is also disclosed. By using the polishing mechanism, the entirety of the polishable surface of the workpiece can be covered, and collapsed edges of the workpiece are avoided.
