SOCKET FOR A TIGHTENING TOOL
Disclosed is a socket unit comprising a first body portion comprising a first rear end portion for connection to the output shaft of a power tool and a front end portion adapted for engagement with a screw joint and a second body portion comprising a second rear end portion for connection to the output shaft of the direct driven power tool or a second front end portion adapted for engagement with a screw joint. The second body portion is at least partly arranged in the first body portion, and a relative rotation between the first and second body portions is allowed, such that one of the first and second body portions may rotate over a predetermined allowable angular range when the other is in engagement with the screw joint. The present specification also relates to a corresponding method, power tool and computer readable storage medium.
MULTIPLE-BIT HAND TOOL INCLUDING POWER NUT/BIT DRIVER
A reversible, multiple-bit, hand tool for driving threaded fasteners and nuts includes a handle and a reversible tool holder assembly. The reversible tool holder assembly is insertable into the handle in either of two orientations to present two different ends provide multiple different configurations for driving different types of threaded fasteners and nuts. The reversible tool holder assembly includes a reversible adapter barrel, a first tool holder, a second tool holder, a first reversible bit holder, and a second reversible bit holder. Each of the tool holders can be selectively used as a nut driver with the holder assembly inserted in either orientation in the handle or can be removed from the adapter barrel and used separately as a power bit driver or a power nut driver (PND) that is received in any conventional chuck of a powered rotary tool.
Wrench capable of applying driving force on object effectively
A wrench has a first segment and a second segment pivotally coupled together. The second segment is selectively positionable at various fixed pivotal positions relative to the first segment. The first and the second segments engage with a locking device. The first segment has a first joining end forming a first positioning surface and a second positioning surface. The locking device includes a catch selectively engagable and disengagable from the first and the second positioning surfaces. The catch has a body section abutting against the first positioning surface in a direction radial to the axis of rotation when the first segment is at a first fixed pivotal position relative to the second segment. The first body section is abutted against the second positioning surface in a direction radial to the axis of rotation when the first segment is at a second fixed pivotal position relative to the second segment.
Tool connector
A tool connector is provided, including: a rod, a sliding sleeve, a locking member, a push rod, a sliding rod, a first elastic member and a second elastic member. The sliding sleeve is movably sleeved to the rod. The sliding rod is disposed through the push rod and slidably disposed on the rod. The sliding rod is comovable with the push rod. The first elastic member is elastically abutted against and between the push rod and the rod. The second elastic member is elastically abutted against and between the rod and the sliding sleeve.
HAND TOOL AND A METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
A handle extends about a first axis and includes a bifurcated portion. The bifurcated portion includes a concave face and two screw holes along a second axis. A toothed ring extends about a third axis and includes a convex face in compliance with the concave face and two bores along a fourth axis. The toothed ring is moved into a space in the concave face while keeping the third axis parallel to the second axis. The third axis is overlapped with the second axis and a center of the toothed ring is near or coincides with a middle point of a segment of the second axis in the bifurcated portion. The toothed ring is rotated about the first axis so that the fourth axis is overlapped with the second axis and the bores are aligned with the screw holes. Two screws are inserted in the screw holes and the bores.
Multi Hex Bit Driver Adjustable System
A multi-bit driver apparatus containing a driver housing, a plurality of rotary drivers, and a rotary driver mechanism is presented. The driver housing contains a driver receiving cavity, and a plurality of rotary apertures. The plurality of rotary each contains a bit shaft, and a bit mounting aperture. The driver receiving cavity is positioned within the driver housing. The plurality of rotary apertures is distributed about the driver housing. The plurality of rotary drivers is positioned within the driver receiving cavity. The bit shaft is rotatably connected along the plurality of rotary apertures. The plurality of rotary drivers is rotatably engaged to each other through the rotary driver mechanism, where the plurality of rotary drivers is configured to rotate in tandem with each other. The bit mounting aperture traverses through the bit shaft.
Hand tool with operating head
The invention is a hand tool with an operating head, which comprises: a main body having two parallel ears spaced apart at a front end; and a working head having a body; a column connected to one side of the body; another side of the body is provided with a pivotal block and two flaps to pivotally connect the two ears of the main body between the pivotal block and the two flaps respectively. The two flaps are capable of assisting in supporting outer sides of the two ears to relatively strengthen a structure of the ear, thereby enhancing a torsion exerted by the column on a workpiece, and enhancing durability and strength of the column.
Selectively flexible extension tool
A tool assembly includes a first selectively flexible tool including a first plurality of sequentially arranged links moveable between a slacked position and a tensioned position; and a second selectively flexible tool including a second plurality of sequentially arranged links moveable between a slacked position and a tensioned position, the second plurality of sequentially arranged links moveable over or through the first plurality of sequentially arranged links.
SURGICAL DEVICES AND METHODS FOR DRIVING AN IMPLANT AND APPLYING COUNTER TORQUE
Devices, systems, and methods are provided for driving an implant and applying counter torque. For example, a driver can include a handle, a driver shaft, and a counter torque shaft, the counter torque shaft being laterally offset from the driver shaft. A distal end of each shaft can mate with a specific type of implant and/or anatomy. The shafts can be removed and replaced from the device, allowing a user to select shafts having particular lengths and/or mating tips. In use, distal ends of the shafts can be fixed or constrained relative to one another and to an implant such that the counter torque shaft cannot orbit around the driver shaft. Rotating the handle can rotate the driver shaft, driving the implant. This can cause the counter torque shaft to try to orbit around the driver shaft, but the fixed/constrained ends restrict this motion, applying the counter torque.
MULTIPLE-FUNCTION TOOL
A tool includes a first body, a rotary member, a positioning unit and an engaging unit. By the positioning unit and the engaging unit, the rotary member is positioned relative to the first body with dual-positioning feature. When the first body is rotated, the rotary member is positioned by the positioning unit and the engaging unit. The rotary member is not likely to freely rotate because both of the positioning unit and the engaging unit fail when using the tool.
