Electric surface temperature control system for a floor, wall or ceiling construction, with at least one heating cable, with at least one carrier plate, which includes a first plate side, which is provided to rest on a ground and includes a second plate side, which is opposite the first plate side and is provided for receiving a contact agent, such as mortar or adhesive, and with a first functional layer arranged on the second plate side, and a second functional layer is provided on the heating cable at least in sections, said second functional layer is formed from a hook tape and the heating cable can be fastened on the carrier plate by the first functional layer and second functional layer with the formation of a hook-and-loop fastener.

An end effector for installing pre-molded seal caps onto fasteners comprises a cap-dispenser assembly and a cap-placement assembly. The cap-placement assembly comprises a main housing and a plunger mechanism, comprising an outer plunger housing and an inner gripper. The inner gripper is rotatable relative to the outer plunger housing between a cap-retaining configuration and a cap-releasing configuration. The plunger mechanism is selectively translatable from an extended position to a retracted position and from the retracted position to the extended position. The main housing is selectively rotatable from a cap-receiving position, in which the plunger mechanism is aligned with the seal-cap-delivery-sleeve central axis, to a cap-installing position, in which the main housing is angularly displaced from the cap-receiving position, and from the cap-installing position to the cap-receiving position.

An end effector for installing pre-molded seal caps onto fasteners comprises a cap-dispenser assembly and a cap-placement assembly. A magnetic cleaning device includes a handle unit, a main unit, and a deforming mechanism. The main unit includes a housing and a magnetic member. The deforming mechanism is connected between the handle unit and the main unit. The housing defines an accommodating space extending along an axis. The magnetic member is disposed in the accommodating space, and is movable along the axis between an attraction position, where the magnetic member is adjacent to an end of the housing, and a non-attraction position, where the magnetic member is away from the end of the housing. The main unit is movable relative to the handle unit via operation of the deforming mechanism.

The filter hook includes a pipe, a rod slidably disposed through the pipe, a hook-shaped implement statically coupled to the rod and disposed exterior of the pipe, a bracket attached to an exterior of the pipe and spaced from the rod, a flashlight attached to the bracket and disposed opposite to the handle portion and adjacent to the second end cap, a magnet statically coupled to the second end cap and configured to support the pipe and the rod at a stationary position at the existing industrial air-handler of the existing ventilation system, and a fastener adjustably mated to the second end cap and oriented transversely to the rod. The fastener is configured to permit selected reciprocal displacement of the rod and the hook-shaped implement through the second end cap and relative to a position of the pipe.

According to one embodiment, there is taught herein a family of “branched” variants of the traditional scissor mechanism, in which each stage is formed from more than two arms, joined at their midpoints by a branched rivet. In one embodiment arms in adjacent stages are joined at their endpoints with joints that allow for rotation in a single plane. Each resulting mechanism has one degree of freedom in its motion. It deploys from a compact, collapsed state to an extended state. One embodiment is a grasping member that is mechanically coupled to a scissor mechanism so that when scissor mechanism is collapsed the grasping member is open. Then, when the scissor mechanism is extended the grasping member becomes closed.

An apparatus that is utilized with a pool skimming system to remove a deck lid from a skimmer reservoir and a skimmer basket from inside the skimmer reservoir while the user remains in a standing position. The apparatus has an elongated handle and an engaging mechanism. The engaging mechanism, which is at a lower end of the handle, has an inverted U-shaped engaging member with a pair of spaced apart outwardly extending engaging projections that engage slots in the deck lid to remove the deck lid from the skimmer reservoir and then engage a basket handle of the basket to remove the basket from the skimmer reservoir. The apparatus can include an adjusting mechanism to adjust the distance between the engaging projections of the engaging mechanism and/or a sampling mechanism having an integral correct depth indicating mechanism to obtain a water sample from a body of water.

A shower base installation system including a shower base and shower base installation tool. The shower base includes one or more recesses on the bottom surface. The installation tool includes a handle, a strap, and a hook. The tool is used to lift and maneuver a shower base into position by engaging the hook into one of the recesses in the shower base.
