A mechanical timer mechanism can include a driven gear mounted to a rotary damper and a drive gear operably coupled to the driven gear. In bump mode, movement of an auxiliary trigger to its actuating position can initially move the drive gear from a home position into its wind-up position. Thereafter, a contact trip can continue to move the drive gear to its wind-up position and an actuator of a principal trigger to its actuating position each time the contact trip is actuated, unless the timing mechanism has timed-out between actuations. In sequential mode, the drive gear can be moved into a timer lock-out position which holds the contact trip in a bypass position in which the contact trip will not engage the actuator of the auxiliary trigger unless the auxiliary trigger is moved to its actuating position before actuation of the contact trip.

DRIVING TOOL

A driving tool with a mechanical spring uses urging force from a striking spring as driving force and switches its operation mode. The tool includes a striking driver to strike a fastener, a striking spring urging the driver in a driving direction, a contact arm movable to a retracted position in a counter-driving direction in response to pressing against a workpiece, a trigger movable to an on-position in response to user operation, and a mode selector switch to switch the operation mode between continuous drive mode and single drive mode. A driving operation is performed in the continuous drive mode in response to the contact arm moving to the retracted position and the trigger moving to the on-position in any order, and in the single drive mode in response to the contact arm moving to the retracted position and the trigger moving to the on-position in the stated order.

DUSTPROOF MAGAZINE FOR NAIL GUN
20230226674 · 2023-07-20 · ·

A dustproof magazine to be mounted in a nail gun including a muzzle unit includes a magazine body, a nail-pressing member, and a scroll spring connected therebetween. The magazine body includes spaced-apart first and second rail walls extending transverse to the muzzle unit, and disposed respectively distal from and adjacent to the muzzle unit. The nail-pressing member is mounted movably along and between the first and second rail walls, and includes a main body and a scraper set extending therefrom. Movement of the nail-pressing member away from the muzzle unit drives the scroll spring to resiliently convert from a winding state into an unwinding state, where a strip portion of the scroll spring unwinds and extends along the second rail wall. The scraper set is in contact with the strip portion during the movement of the nail-pressing member for scrapping foreign matters off the strip portion.

Electric nail gun

An electric nail gun includes a muzzle seat, a safety component being movable relative to the muzzle seat, and a cylinder unit connected to the muzzle seat and including a striking cylinder, at least one storage chamber that is adapted for storing pressurized air, and a sealing cap that is coupled to the striking cylinder and the at least one storage chamber. The electric nail gun further includes an air valve disposed in the cylinder unit and being directly and solely movable by the safety component from a closed position to an open position to allow the pressurized air to flow into the striking cylinder, and a nail-striking unit driven movably by the pressurized air for striking a nail when the air valve is at the open position.

Pneumatic tool

A pneumatic tool includes a drive part configured to be driven by compressed air, a control valve configured to switch the presence or absence of operation of the drive part, an on-off valve part configured to switch the presence or absence of operation of the control valve, and a timer part configured to control the operation of the on-off valve part and switch the presence or absence of operation of the control valve after a lapse of a predetermined time. The timer part comprises a timer piston configured to move in one direction, and a timer piston cylinder configured to support the timer piston. The pneumatic tool comprises a throttle part configured to throttle the flow rate of air flowing into or flowing out from the timer piston cylinder, and an adjustment part configured to adjust an operating time of the timer piston.

DRIVER

A driver including: an ejection part to which a fastener is supplied; a driver blade which moves from a first position toward a second position and drives the fastener into a driven member; and a rack provided to the driver blade. The driver further includes: a rotary component engaging with the rack and moving the driver blade from the second position to the first position; and a lock plate engaging with the rack. The driver blade moves from the second position to the first position while the rotary component rotates once, the rotary component is released from engaging with the rack after the driver blade moves from the second position to the first position, and moves from the first position to the second position, and the lock plate is engageable with the rack when the driver blade stops before reaching the second position from the first position.

DUSTPROOF DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC NAIL GUN
20230211482 · 2023-07-06 · ·

A dustproof device for use in an electric nail gun includes a dustproof plate and two fastening members. The electric nail gun includes a muzzle unit used for discharging nails and a machine body unit connected to the muzzle unit and operable to strike the nails. The dustproof plate has a mounting surface facing the machine body unit, an exterior surface that is opposite to the mounting surface and prevents foreign matters from entering the machine body unit, and a through hole that extends through the mounting surface and the exterior surface, that permits the muzzle unit to extend fittingly therethrough, and that is complementary in shape with a contour of a cross section of the muzzle unit. The two fastening members extend from the mounting surface and are detachably connected to the machine body unit to secure the dustproof plate between the machine body unit and the muzzle unit.

A driving tool including a timer assembly less susceptible to heat operates at a stable operating speed. The driving tool includes a trigger, a contact arm, and a timer assembly that operates in response to the trigger moving to a trigger-on-position with the contact arm remaining at an arm-off-position. The timer assembly includes a flywheel rotatable in response to the trigger moving to the trigger-on-position, and a contact restrictor movable between an unlock position at which the contact restrictor allows the contact arm to move to an arm-on-position and a lock position at which the contact restrictor restricts the contact arm from moving to the arm-on-position. The contact restrictor takes a predetermined period to move from the unlock position to the lock position in response to the trigger moving to the trigger-on-position. The predetermined period is defined by an inertial force generated by rotation of the flywheel.
