Powered fastener driving tools and clean lubricants therefor
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide powered fastener driving tools and clean lubricants for powered fastener driving tools that reduce contaminant, residue, and deposit buildup or accumulation in the powered fastener driving tools, and thus reduce necessary maintenance for such powered fastener driving tools (or increases the time intervals between such necessary maintenance of powered fastener driving tools).
DRY-FIRE BYPASS FOR A FASTENING TOOL
A fastening tool includes a contact trip operatively associated with a contact trip switch to enable a fastener drive system to be fired when the contact trip reaches a firing position, after having engaged a work surface. If a dry-fire condition exists in a magazine connected to the fastening tool, the movement of the contact trip is completely taken up or absorbed by a biasing agent so that the contact trip switch is not closed. The biasing agent also limits the amount of force that can be applied to the contact trip switch in the event an operator slams the contact trip against a work surface or drops the fastening tool nose-first onto an unyielding surface.
SINGLE-MOTION MAGAZINE RETENTION FOR FASTENING TOOLS
A fastening tool including a magazine securely and releasably retained on the fastening tool by a cam mounted on one of the fastening tool and the magazine. In a single rotary motion, the cam wedges together the housing member of the fastening tool and the housing member of the magazine, while simultaneously rotating cam lobes into respective chambers formed on the fastening tool and the magazine. The cam rotation and magazine retention system is accomplished without tools.
RETURN MECHANISM FOR A CORDLESS NAILER
A driver return assembly can be positioned to return a concrete nail driver of a cordless electric powered nailer to the home position. A return rack can be fixedly coupled to and positioned along a longitudinal length of the concrete nail driver The driver return assembly can include a solenoid driving a plunger in a reciprocating motion in a homeward direction and a driven direction. A return pawl can be coupled to the plunger and pivotable into a pawl raised position relative to the plunger in which the pawl is engageable with the return rack during movement of the plunger in the homeward direction, and pivotable into a pawl lowered position relative to the plunger in which the pawl is not engageable with the return rack during movement of the plunger in the driven direction.
CORDLESS CONCRETE NAILER WITH IMPROVED POWER TAKE-OFF MECHANISM
A power take-off (PTO) assembly of a cordless electric concrete driver includes a bracket supporting a solenoid and a compression spring and a linkage arm coupled between a plunger of the solenoid and the compression spring. The linkage arm is biased by the compression spring toward the nail driver. A carrier supports or carries a pinch roller and the carrier is pivotably mounted to the bracket via a pivot pin. An engaging surface is movable with the plunger between an engagement position in which the engaging surface engages a cooperating engaging surface of the carrier and orients the carrier into a corresponding engagement orientation, and a disengagement position in which the engaging surface is spaced away from the cooperating engaging surface of the carrier, allowing the carrier to pivot outside the corresponding engagement orientation.
HAND-HELD POWER TOOL AND DEVICE COMPRISING THE HAND-HELD POWER TOOL
The invention relates to a hand-held tool, in particular a nail-setting device, comprising a handle for manual actuation of the hand-held tool, an interface for fastening the hand-held tool to a remote actuation device, a control apparatus for controlling the hand-held tool in a manual mode and in a remote actuation mode, and a querying apparatus for querying whether the hand-held tool is fastened to a remote actuation device, wherein the control apparatus controls the hand-held tool in the manual mode if the querying apparatus detects that the hand-held tool is not fastened to a remote actuation device, and wherein the control apparatus controls the hand-held tool in the remote actuation mode if the querying apparatus detects that the hand-held tool is fastened to a remote actuation device.
HAND-HELD POWER TOOL AND DEVICE COMPRISING THE HAND-HELD POWER TOOL

Pneumatic tool
A pneumatic tool includes a drive part configured to be driven by compressed air, a control valve configured to switch the presence or absence of operation of the drive part, an on-off valve part configured to switch the presence or absence of operation of the control valve, and a timer part configured to control the operation of the on-off valve part and switch the presence or absence of operation of the control valve after a lapse of a predetermined time. The timer part comprises a timer piston configured to move in one direction and perform timekeeping, and a timer piston housing configured to support a shaft of the timer piston. The timer piston housing is provided with a groove on a guide surface of the shaft of the timer piston, the groove being configured to expand a flow path formed between the shaft and the guide surface.
Method for feeding nails in a nail gun and nail gun implementing the same
A nail gun includes a gun body, a muzzle unit, a nail-feeding unit, a nail-striking unit, and a control unit for controlling the nail-feeding unit and the nail-striking unit to implement a method for feeding nails. The method includes the following steps: energizing a nail-striking solenoid valve of the nail-striking unit to perform a nail-striking operation on one of the nails; de-energizing the nail-striking solenoid valve, and simultaneously starting to count a predetermined delay time period in idle; and upon elapse of the predetermined delay time period, energizing a nail-feeding solenoid valve of the nail-feeding unit to perform a nail-feeding operation on another one of the nails.
POWERED FASTENER DRIVER
A powered fastener driver includes a magazine containing fasteners therein, a drive blade movable in a reciprocating manner to discharge a fastener from the magazine for each drive cycle of the drive blade, a first trigger operable to initiate a drive cycle of the drive blade, and a second trigger movable between a first position, in which the first trigger is inhibited from moving to initiate the drive cycle, and a second position, in which the first trigger is movable to initiate the drive cycle.
