FASTENING TOOL HAVING A MAGNETIC CONTACT TRIP ASSEMBLY
A fastening tool for driving a fastener into a workpiece is described herein. The fastening tool includes a contact trip, a magnet, and a magnetometer. The contact trip is disposed at a first end of the fastening tool and is configured to move toward a second end of the fastening tool opposite of the first end when the contact trip engages the workpiece. The magnet is configured to generate a magnetic field. The magnet is coupled to the contact trip such that movement of the contact trip causes the magnet to move. The magnetometer is configured to detect a change in the magnetic field generated by the magnet when the magnet moves relative to the magnetometer and, based on the detected change in the magnetic field, to generate a signal indicating when the contact trip engages the workpiece.

STAPLE APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR STAPLING
A staple apparatus can comprise a staple head movable in a first staple direction from a head retracted position to a head extended position. The staple apparatus can further comprise an indexing apparatus comprising an index biasing member and an indexing member. The indexing member can be positioned at least partially within an indexing area and biased with the index biasing member toward a member extended position relative to the indexing area. The indexing member can define a rung travel path and can further comprise an indexing tab comprising a ramp surface positioned to taper the rung travel path in the first indexing direction. The indexing tab can further comprise a shoulder positioned past at least a portion of the ramp surface in the first indexing direction. In further embodiments, a staple chain positioning apparatus can comprise a push member movable in an extension direction.
Staple tool
Disclosed is a tool for driving a barbed staple into a workpiece, the tool includes a housing enclosing a power delivery source and a driver blade driven by the power delivery source and comprising an engagement portion configured for engagement with the staple. The tool further includes a nosepiece comprising an aperture providing access for loading a staple into the nosepiece and a passage configured for slidable mounting of the driver blade. In use, the driver blade may be driven along a longitudinal axis of the passage by the power delivery source to engage and drive a staple into a workpiece. Clearances are providing to allow for loading and passage of the barbed staples in the nosepiece and arrangements are provided to maintain the alignment of the staple in the nosepiece to compensate for those clearances.
Spring reset device for piston mechanism
The present invention relates to a spring reset device for a piston mechanism. In certain embodiments, the spring reset device includes: a connecting plate, a pull rod, a plurality of reset springs, and a plurality of brackets. The connecting plate has a plurality of connecting pins. Each of the reset springs has a first end, and a second end. Each of the brackets has a connecting pin. The spring reset device is positioned on a top end of a piston body. The piston body includes a piston cylinder body, a piston plate, a piston rod, and a cylinder cover. A lower side of the piston plate is connected to the piston rod through a thread. First end of each of reset springs is rotatably connected to a hook portion of connecting plate. Second end of each of reset springs is rotatably connected a hook portion of a corresponding bracket.
Driving device
According to one aspect of the application, a device for driving a fastening element into a substrate has an energy-transfer element for transferring energy to the fastening element. The energy-transfer element can move preferably between a starting position and a setting position, wherein the energy-transfer element is located, before a driving-in procedure, in the starting position and, after the driving-in procedure, in the setting position. According to another aspect of the application, the device comprises a mechanical-energy storage device for storing mechanical energy. The energy-transfer element is then suitable preferably for transferring energy from the mechanical-energy storage device to the fastening element.
SAFETY DEVICE FOR TACKERS
A safety device for tackers includes a safety slide slidably connected to the outlet of the tacker and the safety slide has a stop protruding from the inside thereof. The rod has one end contacts the stop and the other end of the rod has a plastic tip connected thereto. An ignition spring is connected between the plastic tip and a safety switch. A recovery spring is connected to another position of the rod to position the rod. The safety slide is slidably connected to grooves of the tacker. When the safety slide contacts against an object to be stapled, the rod is pushed by the stop and activates the ignition spring to activate the safety switch so as to reduce the impact of the rod and the safety switch.
Fastener driving tool with portable pressurized power source
A fastener driver tool powered by a pressurized power source having a supply of compressed fluid includes a magazine associated with the tool for storing and supplying fasteners to a tool nose. A cylinder in the tool has a reciprocating piston associated with a driver blade sequentially engaging fasteners from the magazine as they are fed into tool nose. A control system is configured for directly electrically controlling a flow of compressed fluid for driving the piston.
Staple gun
A staple gun is adapted for driving out a frontmost staple of a staple strip and a frontmost press piece of a press piece strip simultaneously. The staple gun includes a casing unit adapted for receiving the staple strip and the press piece strip, a striker unit adapted for striking the frontmost staple and the frontmost press piece out of the casing unit through an exit opening, and a loading unit including a staple holder, a press piece pusher that is adapted to abut against a rear end of the press piece strip, and a press piece spring that is connected between the press piece pusher and the staple holder for maintaining contact between the press piece strip and a front portion of the casing unit.
