Multi-use hammer
The hammer has a head and a handle which extends from the head. The head has at least two surfaces that face towards the handle and that lie in a common first plane. At least a portion of the handle extends linearly and perpendicularly from the first plane to allow a user to draw a straight line which is perpendicular to the first plane.
Workpiece Tools and Techniques
Workpiece tools and techniques are described. In one example, a workpiece tool includes different side panels that provide surfaces for workpiece alignment. Further, a workpiece tool includes apertures that can align with a work surface such as a welding table. An adjustable tool is also described that includes a tool body and a slidable member that is slidable relative to the tool body. The slidable member, for instance, represents a measurement tool that can be used to measure object dimensions. Further, the tool body includes different side panels that are arranged to enable a variety of different usage scenarios such as include different positions of the slidable member relative to an adjacent object and/or surface.
Tool for measuring the size, position, spacing and overlap length of rebar in a concrete structure
A tool and system for measuring the size, position, and spacing of rebar in a concrete structure comprises a card preferably having a linear periphery. Around the periphery are a plurality of cutouts, with each of the cutouts adapted to measure the diameter of a standard rebar. The periphery of the card also has a series of hash marks to determine linear measurements. The amount of clear cover of the resulting concrete is measured by placing the tool on rebar inboard of the formwork and counting the hash marks to the adjacent formwork. The spacing between two rebars is measured by placing the tool on one rebar and counting the hash marks between two rebars. Alternatively, the distance between rebars and rebar overlap length is estimated by using the tool to determine the scale, if the space between bars is and overlap is longer that the tool length.
Multi-Axis Alignment Tools and Techniques
Multi-axis alignment tools are described. The tools are usable to arrange workpieces across a variety of different axes and orientations and to ensure consistent and durable alignment of various workpieces while providing access for working thereon, which is not possible using conventional tools.

OPTICAL TEMPLATE PROJECTION USING POSITIONAL REFERENCE
A system and method for aligning projection of an optical indicia on a surface of a large object is disclosed. A reference is disposed in proximity to the object. The reference includes a plurality of markers spaced at intermittent locations. A projection system projects optical indicia onto the surface of the object. A detection system detects the markers disposed upon the reference and signals an image of the markers to a processor for the processor to register a location of the projection system relative to the reference. The reference is aligned with a feature disposed upon the object enabling registration of the markers to the object. A location of the projection system relative to the object is established enabling the projection system to project the optical indicia onto the object to a predetermined location.
AUXILIARY SHEET-METAL WORKING DEVICE
An auxiliary sheet-metal working device facilitates the completion of bodywork repair and painting operations with the affixing of anagrams, logos and any kind of indications. For this purpose, the device can include a flat platform with one or more rulers on at least one straight edge. In certain embodiments, the auxiliary sheet-metal working device can include at least one movable and/or removable ruler.
Marked Lumber
A dimensional lumber product and method for marking them. The lumber is marked on a side at regular intervals. The marks may be made with laser, paint, or mechanical force. The marks enable a builder to make accurate cuts using the existing marks, without needing to measure and manually mark the lumber.

ACCESSORY CASE
A case includes a first housing portion, a second housing portion, a first auxiliary structure, and a second auxiliary structure. The second housing portion is movably coupled to the first housing portion and cooperates with the first housing portion to define a storage space. The first auxiliary structure is disposed on one of the first housing portion and the second housing portion. The second auxiliary structure is disposed on one of the first housing portion and the second housing portion. The first auxiliary structure is a foot disposed on and extending from an exterior surface of the first housing portion. The foot is configured to abut a workpiece to orient the workpiece in at least one preset angle relative to the first housing portion. The second auxiliary structure is a recess.
