KNIFE BLADE
A reduced friction knife blade includes the implementation of air gaps of different air volumes or shapes on opposing sides of blade such that food items cannot stick to the same. The different air volumes of the air gaps are formed such that they extend all the way to the top edge of the knife blade.

Manufacturing method of a cutting member
A method of manufacturing a cutting member include cutting a first metal material to form a first portion of the cutting member; cutting second metal material to form a second portion of the cutting member, wherein a first edge of the second portion has at least two line segments, a curve formed by the at least two line segments being mathematically continuously differentiable; welding the first portion and the second portion together; raising the cutting member blank to a first temperature at a first rate and holding raising the cutting member blank from the first temperature to a second temperature at a second rate lower than the first rate and holding, and raising the cutting member blank from the second temperature to a third temperature at a third rate not higher than the second rate and holding.

Knife with replaceable blade
A knife is provided that includes a replaceable blade element. The knife employs a blade carrier that is fixedly interconnected to or foldable with respect to a handle. The blade carrier selectively receives the replaceable blade element that is locked into the blade carrier by way of a blade release mechanism by biasing an associated spring that is further associated with a blade release button. The replaceable blade element is designed to be inserted within the blade carrier quickly, easily, and safely. The replaceable blade element may abut an internal guide surface during insertion.

Food Chopping Device
A food chopping device is provided. The chopping device includes a chopping member having a pair of wings with each wing having a holding surface and a chopping edge. An angle is formed between the holding surfaces of the pair of wings. The chopping member also including an opening configured to drain a liquid from food. The food chopping device also includes a handle member attached with the chopping member.

Tactical knife
The knife includes a handle portion attached to a blade with a tip at its distal end. The blade comprises four surfaces that converge to form a spine and opposing cutting edges with each surface having a concave segment, a first angled segment, a flat segment, and a second angled segment as the surface extends from the spine to the edge. Similarly, the tip includes four surfaces that converge and terminate at a point, with each surface comprising only an angled segment. Optionally, the knife includes a unique safety lanyard that has two attachment points on the handle such that a closed loop is adjustably formed around the user's hand when gripping the handle, which aids in withdrawing the knife, stabilizing the user's grip, and preventing the hand from sliding forward while in use. Optionally, the knife includes a thumb plate as an additional safeguard.
HUNTING KNIFE AND SCALPEL WITH INTERCHANGEABLE BLADES
Knives having removable blades are described. Such a knife includes a handle; and a blade removably connected to the handle. The blade includes a blade portion and a carrier portion. The carrier portion of the blade includes a cam slot and the handle includes a cam pin which enable the blade to be removably connected to the handle.
