Method for producing concrete pipes having a plastic inner pipe
Embodiments of a method and a mold for producing a concrete pipe comprising a basic body made of concrete and a plastic inner pipe for conducting a liquid. The method comprises introducing a mold core into the plastic inner pipe, introducing the plastic inner pipe into an outer mold and pouring concrete into an intermediate space between the outer mold and the plastic inner pipe to form the basic body. After the concrete has solidified, the plastic inner pipe remains as inner formwork in the basic body made of concrete and the mold core is removed.
MEDICAL DEVICES WITH TUBULAR REINFORCEMENT
A method of making a medical device includes: obtaining an assembly having a tubular structure, a polymeric tube, and a stretched rod, wherein the stretched rod is inside a lumen of the polymeric tube, and wherein the polymeric tube is between the tubular structure and the stretched rod; and expanding the stretched rod to urge the polymeric tube radially outward towards an inner surface of the tubular structure.
System and method for producing concrete products by a casting method
The present invention relates to a method and system for producing concrete products by casting method by means of casting moulds assembled from corresponding outer and inner moulds, having a program-controlled, automated circulation system having a hardening area 420, a program-controlled, automated manufacturing area 100 and a conveying unit 200. The system also has a manually operable mould assembly unit having mould assembly stations M1 to M4 for manually assisted assembly of a casting mould from corresponding outer and inner moulds, wherein the conveying unit comprises a supply conveying section 222 set up to supply a casting mould assembled in the manually operable mould assembly unit to the automated circulation system under program control.
Protective sheaths for medical devices
A process for making a sheath used to protect a medical device. The medical device includes a polymer scaffold crimped to a catheter having an expansion balloon. A sheath is placed over the crimped scaffold after crimping to reduce recoil of the crimped polymer scaffold and maintain scaffold-balloon engagement relied on to hold the scaffold to the balloon when the scaffold is being delivered to a target in a body. The sheath is removed by a health professional either by removing the sheath directly or using a tube containing the catheter.

Robust adhesives for laminating flexible packaging material
A robust, two component adhesive for laminating flexible packaging material comprising a mixture of Component A and Component B. Component A comprises an isocyanate-functionalized compound. Component B comprises a mixture of a high functionality polyol containing at least four hydroxyl groups per molecule with at least two primary OH groups on the molecule and two secondary OH groups on the molecule and a trifunctional polyol containing three OH groups on the molecule. Component B can contain a difunctional polyol containing two OH groups on the molecule. The adhesive is robust and retains desirable properties when used at varying A:B mix ratios better than conventional laminating adhesives used at the same mix ratios.
