Method of manufacturing plastic lens, method of positioning film, and composite body
A method of manufacturing a plastic lens includes: a step of putting a first curable composition over a forming surface of a first mold substrate having the forming surface for forming a lens surface; a step of spreading the first curable composition over the entire forming surface by pressing the composition with a film to form a first curable composition layer and separating the film from the first mold substrate by a predetermined distance through the formed first curable composition layer; a step of covering defined surfaces; a step of injecting a second curable composition into a defined location; a step of curing the first curable composition layer and the injected second curable composition; and a step of removing to obtain a plastic lens.
SWITCHABLE ELECTRICAL COMPOSITE PANE ARRAY
A composite switchable pane array, having: a first pane; a second pane, and an intermediate layer arranged therebetween, wherein the intermediate layer has at least one first thermoplastic polymer film and one second thermoplastic polymer film, and an SPD film arranged therebetween; and an edge sealing arranged in the outer edge region of the intermediate layer, containing a polyimide (PI) and/or polyisobutylene (FIB).
Polarizing plate and method for manufacturing the same
A polarizing plate includes a polarizer and a protective film formed on at least one surface of the polarizer. A transverse direction (TD) shrinkage stress ratio SR.sub.A of the polarizing plate ranges from about 1% to about 10%, as calculated using Equation 1:
SR.sub.A (%)=(S1/S2)100(1)
In Equation 1, S1 is the TD shrinkage stress of the protective film, and S2 is the TD shrinkage stress of the polarizer.
