Sets of protrusions and dimples integral to either the rigid frame or adhesion surface may be employed to releasable lock the frame and adhesion surface together. To release a printed object, the user need only detach the adhesion surface from the rigid frame, and then twist the adhesion surface.

A usage amount of the decorative sheet can be reduced, and three-dimensional decoration can be implemented as needed on a portion requiring decoration.

A filament for use in forming a support structure in fused filament fabrication, the filament comprising an amorphous, thermoplastic resin further comprising Bisphenol Isophorone carbonate units and Bisphenol A carbonate units, wherein the Bisphenol Isophorone carbonate units are 30 to 50 mole percent of the total of Bisphenol A carbonate units and Bisphenol Isophorone carbonate units in the resin, and wherein the resin has a glass transition temperature from 165° C. to 200° C. The composition used to form the support filament exhibits a desirable combination of filament formability, printability, lack of significant oozing from the printer nozzle, and good ease of mechanical separation from the build material at room temperature after printing.

System and method for thermoforming an object

A system for thermoforming an object is provided. The system includes a mold and a pressure-box. The mold has a surface that defines a shape of the object and includes two or more portions of differing porosities. The pressure-box is operative to generate a pressure differential across the surface. The two or more portions apply the pressure differential at different loads, based at least in part on the differing porosities, to a material disposed onto the surface so as to form the object by deforming the material into the shape.

The methods include at least: transferring the polymerizable dental material into a radiolucent three-dimensional casting or press mold; irradiating the polymerizable dental material substantially from all sides with light in the UV/Vis spectral region forming polymerized outer surfaces of the dental material in the form of a solid outer shell of the dental material, wherein the shell is present in the defined three-dimensional geometry of the material whilst the inner region of the material is not polymerized or partially polymerized; heating the material with solid shell being present in defined three-dimensional geometry, to 60° C. to 150° C. for at least 90 minutes; and obtaining a dental, polymerized block of material having defined three-dimensional geometry.
